  1. yeah he wouldnt tell me either til he was sure I wanted to buy it, tight git. Terry, keep me informed on how u r getting on with the black car. And to Dude, go for it, hope everything works out well for you and you can kill the skylines, and if you evr come round my area you can have free skate and chips (I know u like your skate)
  2. A bit difficult considering I dont play it ha ha, I might start as of wednesday. But, on a serious note, my dad might be moving our family business to Marbella as a steak house in the next 6 months and if their laws on cars and insurance are different from ours then I might have to sell, but hopefully I can take her with me, sorry for the thread hijack:)
  3. Well tough, its mine now Terry , you can buy her back in a couple of years when I move to Spain:) , or if I win the lottery I'll give her back to you for free. Dont forget to text me your new number when you get hold of a new phone.
  4. Maybe you are right Terry, must be the ECU, because it really doesnt have much lag at all, Autronic is excellent (cant understand the manual though, all gibberish(sp?) to me), all the young lasses were staring at my car on my way to pick Sophie up on Saturday night, everyone was moving over so I could pull along side them:eek:
  5. As Dude says, speed bumps are fine, if you go slow and dont let the small speed bump go under the centre of your car (better to do just one side of your car over the bump slowly), its just ramps that are a problem, but they can be avoided, thanks for the compliments on the car:)
  6. yep, and wash it off with the drool of young RS Turbo drivers ha ha.
  7. yep I will take some pictrure when I get a sunny day, took her for the first real spin today on motorways and was flying, I love it and I am sorted now on the clutch, I wouldnt be able to drive my old car now I'm used to this clutch. Everyone was staring today because I was stuck in traffic, a young lad in his escort got his phone out and took a pic ha ha, the noise is incredible as u say:thumbs:
  8. Nah Terry didnt really think about selling her, I just asked him one day and he thought about it, he sold it so he could buy his wife a new car because the supra was just sitting on his drive
  9. Old car went back to Justin and Leon bought it from him.
  10. I will bring it to some meets, and cant wait to do my first 1/4 mile run, but I am nervous that I wont do very well in a huge power car:D , probably miss a gear change or stall it on the line ha ha
  11. Yep Faye, I will bring her to some meets soon, just getting used to her and the carbon clutch, then I'll be out to some meets.
  12. There is no comparison, it doesnt roll round corners, phenomenal acceleration between 40-160 (not that I've tried:D ), everyone goes on about how laggy huge turbos are but its really not that laggy on a manual car because you can get in the rev range if you use the gears correctly. Only difficulty with the car is speed bumps , I hate them, but its not so bad over them, but multistorey will be a no no:(
  13. Is it the fact that I said it was an old purple throbbing monster ha ha, no, seriously, the reason I refer to it as Terry's car is because he did all the work and got it built to that spec and I just bought the car, so he deserves all the credit for the car:)
  14. I will Roy, I know Terry was very frustrated that he chose to sell it because he has just got it running perfectly, the best it has been running for 2 years and its been off the road for a long time (which is why Terry couldnt make any meets), but I'm enjoying it already, and the power is kept down superbly by the Autronic Traction control function of the ECU.
  15. Ok changed the fuse and still not working, bulbs are working fine and come on ok when brakes are pressed, but tail lights dont work when lights are on, any ideas Matt? thanks Nick
  16. Just a quick question though Matt, how do I know which fuse is for the tail lights?
  17. Hi all, all four of my tail lights and my fog light switch under my steering wheel are all not workin, is this due to a blown fuse, if so, how do I get to the fuse box by the passenger footwell in order to change the fuse, had a quick go at getting it in the dark but couldnt figure it out, me being ignorant and all. cheers Nick
  18. Yep guys it was me who needed assistance haha, thought it was the battery, but just the needed to cool down because the electric fan on the car is not great when the car is is constant traffic and not moving to cool the engine, sorry for wasting all your time dragging you back ha ha. Nice to meet everyone, didnt even know you were there Roy until right at the end my friend said he was talking to a guy called Roy. Next time I think I'll leave the missus at home and get socialising a bit more. But nice to meet Tom, Chris, Dude, Midlife (massive personality), Geeza (thanks for the superhero act), Rosie, Supraguy, Ryan, Trig, and cashpoint in white supe. Oh yeah and my chippy is much better but just a few miles outta southend
  19. 07734256541, and I'll be at Lakeside services at 6 Nick
