Welcome mate Any chance of sending any cheap petrol?
  2. J tuner stopped publishing due to something about ripping the name of an american website. If u search j tuner on google theres loads of threads. I had been buying both jp and banzai for a few years, but have not bought any for about 6 mths. If u buy one u will notice they both feature the same cars about a issue gap between them.
  3. I have top mounts on my tiens ss. I don't hear any knocking and yes they do stiffen up. The steering response is a lot sharper and lot more feedback.
  4. I did the same on my supe. U will need a few bits from toyota to convert back. Here is a list of some of the bits and part numbers: clutch fork-t31204-14060 ball,Fork -t31236-14030 spring -t31234-14020 hub release-t31231-14050 circlip-t90520-75001 bearing-t90363-12002 There were a few more washers etc, but can't find my invoice. Get a diagram from toyota and u should be able to work it out.
  5. What a great thread! It is about time we started taking this seriously, i mean the govt. What a bunch of to$$ers. If the green issues are true then surely the govt should be giving people REAL incentives to go green instead of sucking them dry through taxes. It makes my blood boil when i see govt wasting money on things which are not important. I mean surely if it was such a big deal then there should be more than 3% taxes being spent. I don't believe anything the govt says, there are alot of other issues causing pollution than only cars. We are an easy target, fines, cameras, ins, taxes etc. The govt also know's we need our cars and we will keep paying. We are not STRONG as a nation like the french to stand up. What do u think would happen if we all stopped driving fullstop? The govt would be screwing not happy. They would be worried more about the money than the climate and would probably tax u for farting and start measuring the potency and put that into tax bands.
  6. type s is a single solenoid while type r is a twin. Type s will handle 18-19 psi boost and type r will handle 2.5 bar.
  7. Scooby's ain't brilliant on fuel, so might not be that economical. I also find the seats a bit hard on long drives. They eat clutches and break the diff/shafts if launched. Not bad for the money though. I would consider m3 for similiar money.
  8. I think it is not a great idea. In the present times with constant threats doe's this idea make any sense. I say this not because of yobs /chavs but terrorists. Imagine an extermist being called for national service. It would put soldiers at risk from within their own network never mind snipers etc.
  9. Any way of seeing what diff i have without dismantling? It has some numbers hand written on the casing.
  10. U might have sucked some crap from the bottom of the tank and blocked fuel supply. Check to see if u have fuel going into rail. Don't know about key, but sure somebody will know.
  11. Mine does's the same on tight 90 degree turns. It screeches and vibrates. I love the diff the way it is and find straight line traction great.
  12. U could try jap performance parts in sussex, as they break evo's. Ask for saj and tell him Mo told gave u details.
  13. Yeah mate, It came with 2 bald tyres. I'll let u guess front or back?
  14. It should be fine, and good luck.
  15. I have a greddy rs. It leaked like my bullmastiffs mouth when drinking water. A lot of pressure testing and silicone sealent were used, now sorted. I would personally stay away from the rs next time.
  16. The previous owner is eating sushi somewhere in japan. I am the first owner here and the company i bought it off thought the intercooler was a rad, so picked up a bit off a bargain.
  17. Same here, I get the clunk and also rattling at low revs as i have a lightweight flywheel. Shit me up the first time i heard it, been over 2yrs now and still going strong.

    Feel weird!

What u smokin, I think it's called MUNCHEES!
  19. hi guys. On my supes if i drop a gear to slow down my back end twitches everytime as i release the clutch. Is this standard and anybody here have same effect? When i bought the car it was used as a drift car so don't know if been changed.
  20. Great comments people. Seems some people have got it easy while others have got it hard/expensive. Mine girlfriend gets fed up with my car and modifiying, so i thought i would start this thread and see other people's situations. Makes u feel better when u know u r not alone.
  21. Hello everyone, How does your other half cope with u and your modifiying bug? Are they happy for u to spend bank holiday/weekend working on u r pride and joy, or do they throw a fit everytime the bonnet goes up?
  22. Damn right mate, It's a joke how some people go ott about threats we are facing these days. I agree with u as what is happening to the world. Things are changing, new laws etc and it's causing people to panic.
