i'd still recommend the samsung it not 1080p but the contrast ratio blows it out the water my parents got a hitachi and it horrible i hate it not the same model but the pic crap even on sky HD. i have to work with tvs everyday at work and in the end even i chose a samsung but it totaly up to you. and the hitachi is lcd.

wow some of them are pretty good he does some good freezes and the head spins lol rock on he gona be amazing when he older

if u could stretch or shop around i'd recomend this tv http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/product.do?sku=383732&tab=specification#spec it a plasma as well which has a faster refresh rate than a lcd of equal spec and price, which is much better for faster images like football, racing or action you dont get ghostin (shadow followin image i.e blur followin ball or car) and it has built in digital tuner which will be helpful when the change over happens as not many people rellise that you will need two digital sources if u want to record (unless u have sky+ or V+) ohh and it has a much better contrast ratio.

hey there i work in a tv shop (comet) and would recommend either a panasonic or a samsung both good value for money and the picture is fantastic. wouldnt bother goin for a 1080p tv just yet as there isnt much that fully uses this only blueray so unless u have a ps3 or paid out lots for a blueray player and then pay out £20 for every dvd. What type of programmes do you watch i.e sport movies play games etc because lcd and plasma both have there pros and cons if you have any specific Qs jus send us a message.

Hey guys and gals need lil help finding some where to service the supe first year of having it so dont really have a clue. i live just outside plymouth over the river, just want to know if there is any where anyone recommends as i have been to some not so good places before with past cars. I live in Cornwall but am next to plymouth so if anyone knows where i can get the work done be most appretiated.
