  1. lol wanted to slow down and take some better pics but had to be a sensible driver I guess
  2. Look what I saw on the way back from Stanstead Airport today...
  3. Loved it...I was expecting a complete shambles of a film but it ended up being brilliant...I loved the way they kept the authenticity of the characters and great story line....
  4. I did plan on voting, I got my poll card ready, but just didn't have the time to go, even though it was a 2 minute walk...bit disappointed but then again I'm sure it's not gonna make much difference (-1).
  5. This did not sell on ebay in the end - did not even meet the ridiculously low reserve, pathetic!!!
  6. I quite fequently have problems browsing the site, it either freezes or hangs and I end up either having to close the browser and re-open or clear temporary internet files etc. Pain in the backside, did it 2 minutes ago again ....
  7. Here are some pics that you requested (Pencil not included - just to show it's ultra-slim)
  8. LOL - that's not funny dude....yeah they are always out there.. I remember once they flew above my flats in Limasol along the seafront when I was out there, I was on the top floor, it sounded absolutely out of this world!!! I thought it was an earthquake or something and the view I had was superb You can get to meet all the pilots at the Southend Airshow and get their autographs etc and have a chat which them which is good. Sure I met all of them.... They also have a replica to sit in which is identical to the real thing! got pics too..
  9. My camera battery just died so have to charge it up before I can add some pics, give me 30 mins. U can fit in seconds to the windscreen or with the dashboard mount. The suction cap has a little bit wear but should still be okay (only a few quid for a new one though) the dashboard cap has not been used at all so still as new.
  10. Still for sale....It's so easy to use and one of the main reasons why I purchased it) so much easier than a TOM TOM and much clearer menu's and and more accurate too. What pics do u need?
  11. Yep... It's preloaded with the UK/Ireland maps, but if you need to download any maps on to the SAT NAV you just download them from the disc, which is very useful too for setting up waypoints / routes etc City Navigator NT Europe v9 Includes: - Expanded coverage to include selected coverage for eastern Europe - Full Coverage for Poland, Republic of Ireland, Spain and Continental Portugal (not including Azores and Madeira - Expanded address ranges for Belgium - 7.3 Million KM of Road Coverage - 1.3 million POI's (Points of Interest) There are too many countries to list TBH Tried to upload a picture of the coverage but it doesn't accept tif files.
  12. Thanks for the advice thats why I posted this thread I need to hear this from experienced riders such as yourself I know there are great risks and potential dangers and I want to be prepared for them so I will get as much training as possible... as you said though, it's always some idiot that pull's out in front of you, thats what happened to my friend as well, was not really his fault but he could have avoided it...
  13. Reason why I didnt get one all this time is coz my brother in law's brother died on one many years ago when he was 21 years old and it wasn't the best idea at the time to get one, now that I'm older and many years have passed. I have to fulfill my desires or I will regret it like selling the Supra....
  14. Definately considered that...thanks mate...:thumbs:but I catch on pretty quick, I advised the same thing to my mate when he got his 1st GSXR 600 and he wrote it off in an accident and had a lucky escape. I'm quite sensible though so I will treat it with great respect and discipline for the 1st year.....just don't want to waste money on buying an old bike, I will get plenty of practice 1st.....
  15. Good choice indeed...I like the riding position and the handle bars are set wider apart and it still has the sport look
  16. thats what I was thinking actually, I went to see a couple of 750's today, thinking that the 600 will not be enuf, I'm 6ft 4.5" and quite heavy and the Yamaha's are very lightweight too, I'm thinking the Suzuki will be more befitting for my weight ratio. Will I be able to get one on a K4-K5 for that much??
  17. Yeah not bad at all, what video software did u use?? One of the highlights has to be the rear view of the lady in red...
  18. I really fancy buying a motorbike and I need some advice guys... I want to spend around 3-4k for the 1st one, possibly more! and I would like something sporty like either a Suzuki GSXR 600/750 or a Yahama R6 maybe but I'm open to anything else... What are my options and what should I really be looking at when going to buy one? My mate has been going on at me for years to get one and it's been a life long dream of mine too (as I used to ride bikes when I was young) and I think it's about time I got one now. appreciate all your advice...
  19. I have told him about it, but when I checked the Mapsource Maps it didn't cover where he was going, but to be honest now Im not sure...(it might do) Just checked the maps again, and it does actually cover that area so I'll PM him again. Thanks Dave
