Why ? In relation to the original post, if whifbitz say 400BHP then it should be close, although our cars are 15years or so old so a few horses will no doubt have been lost along the way.

Worked out how, but had to get a little more physical with the brakes than i thought i would. Simple way to get these things off is to tap a good quality flat head screwdriver between the caliper and the thin metal frame. Once youve got one off the rest seem easy.

The wifes car has so many dents and scrapes, im thinking of hanging tyres off it, like a tug boat to prevent further damage

I agree, i had the same thing on a fiat panda once, every tike i pressed the clutch lights went on and off.

OK ta, nice mod, but just too pricey. Its cheaper to drop a TT engine in, you get a bit more power and more scope for power in future.

Just tried to remove the old concertina rubber bits from the sliders on my j-spec brakes, so that i can install the new ones from the re-furb kit. The old rubber concertina bits have detached themselves from the round metal frame which is now jammed into the slider section. Any advice on how to remove ?

An aftermarket kit vented into the wing should be better than std ? All the big power supes seem to have airfilter pipeing into the front wing to get colder air and reduce heat soak. Whay not on an N/A ?

The ghost was the easiest one, took about 10minutes. The one with the skulls on took 3Hours !!!!!!!

How much for the bolt on kit and where from ? Why havent they ever been mentioned on thsi forum before ?

Only ever heard of one aftermarket supercharged N/A 2JZ GE, and not sure of it was successful. I know it broke the shaft shortly after install. I didnt know lexus did a supercharged 2jz GE out of the box. Is it possible to convert the supra engine ? What sort of power is the lexus ?

Yep now im depressed. I was looking at the recent thread on fast estate cars, and started making me think about a mad jap wagon of some sort. Starting to lean towards the Mitsubushi Legnum 2.5 TT and i can easily pick one up for that price

Well just because you were stationary in traffic facing the other way doesnt mean its not a kill for the N/A:p I only ever accelerate up to the speed limit so i have nothing to fear from the cops:d Have you finally sold yours then ?

93 N/A 5 speed Silver (unmarked) 19inch axis may alloys (rears need a re-furb, fronts fine) veilside skirts, rear spats and front splitter cant recall exact milage as its a mix of kms, and miles, but works out about 70 to 80K Come on make me depressed

But they dont rake in more than the old fashioned cameras as people actually stick to the limit with average speed ones !!! None of these examples of fatal accidents being used as justification to install speed cameras is as good as the justification used to install one in Yorkshire. Cant recall how many fatal accidents in total were used, BUT 3 of them were suicides, caused by people jumping off a motorway bridge, onto the carraigeway, and not involving any vehicles !!!!!!!

Your mother in law sounds like an unreasonable nightmare, and sorry to say it, but it sounds like the wife needs to trust you and speak to you more often, rather than keeping secrets.
