  1. There's not much in it is there? I know they quoted 280 in japan because of an "agreement" but in reality it was higher. Perhaps the uk is slightly higher but then uk specs are slightly heavier arent they? Either way they're both pretty damn fast

    Nice Bike

Looks like a ducati 1098. Dont know much about bikes but i think thats one of if not the fastest bikes money can buy?
  3. MPG for tt and n/a arent far off each other when driven normally. You can just about get them up to 30mpg with motorway driving (56mph i think). Normal driving you can expect around the 20mpg mark. Obviously with a tt, putting your foot down will seriously reduce this (i've heard of single figures before!). Performance wise the n/a has around 220bhp, tt 326bhp and as far as singles go there are so many different types that you couldnt put one figure on it. Some are upwards of 800bhp. Hope that helps. PS. If you still want the power of your gto then you will want a tt at least
  4. Oh yes it's the 6 cylinder, 20 valve supra

    Blue smoke

Out of curiosity, what was your mileage?

    Blue smoke

Ah ha i get it now

    Blue smoke

That's interesting. I know two people who have had this problem and their mileages were around 50k and 30k unless they were both clocked but i don't think so. Could it not be down to time rather than mileage? (With some supras getting on for 14 years old now)

    Blue smoke

I've heard its a very major job. Around £1000 unless you do it yourself? Could be wrong though. I hope so as it seems it happens to every supra sooner or later
  9. By the time that happens i've already turned over
  10. I don't know but i'm suddenly very hungry
  11. Haha. You should have offered to oblige

    2$ = £1

My other half has just been to new york for a 4 day shopping spree. The prices, when u work it out, were incredible
  13. I've found that works best when you're in a limo
  14. Well my friend lives there and she calls it "Shittingbourne"
  15. Excellent, always nice when that happens. 12 months of driving with no expense! If only
  16. That car reminds me of a transformer
  17. It is really cheap. If i didn't have one already i would be very interested!
  18. Welcome. You have great taste in cars! I used to have a gt4, absolutely loved it! Check out the for sale section as RZ's are up for sale pretty much all the time and you know you will be getting a good one off here EDIT: I assume you want one in white
  19. You're welcome. Please do have a good read through the various guides, particularly 'what to check when buying a supra', so that when you are looking at cars you know what to look out for. They can all be found here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=69
  20. Here it is http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=86128
  21. Certainly is. There is a detailed thread in the technical section that explains it very well. I'll try and find it...

    Hey mkiv fans

Welcome. Type R's are very nice cars but i think you will be impressed by a TT supra (just watch out when that second turbo comes online!) Looking for a nice uk tt may take some time (especially if you want a manual) so be prepared to wait for a good one. Keep an eye on the supras for sale section. With regards to the insurance, are you under 21? If not then i think you will find someinsurance companies that don't offer quotes that are much more expensive for a j-spec
  23. You will get a mint auto or a very nice manual for that money. With regards to transmission, i was hell bent on getting a manual. I didn't even consider an auto but i found a mint one and thought i'd give it a try and i was blown away. It's really not your average box, the kick down is terrific. It was such a pleasurable drive that i bought it and havent looked back. I would suggest driving a manual and auto (if you can) and seeing what you prefer as it's a bit of a marmite thing i think.
