Did anyone read the e-book that was linked. It supposedly contains 15 experiments that PROVE the earth is flat. A lot of it went over my head to be honest but are there any phyiscs boffs that can help out? I'd be inclined to think it was flat. Someone attach a video camera to a weather balloon and show us what happens!

I was wandering aimlessly across the internet the other day (as you do) and somehow came upon the website for the "flat earth society". For those who haven't heard of it, it's a group of people who firmly believe the earth is not a sphere but is in fact flat. Not just based on religious beliefs, they claim to have experiments that PROVE the earth is flat. Naturally i was sceptical at first (to put it mildly) but i read the FAQ and although i'm not convinced the theory does appear to be plausible. Tell me what you guys reckon. Yes it really is amazing. I think i read somewhere that it was around the 200g mark (dont have a source though). You can tell its a bad one by the way the commentators stay silent for a while, it takes a lot to keep americans quiet!

Yeah i saw this live it was awesome! Thats pretty much a standard superspeedway finish lol. I like to take the piss out of american racing as they "can only turn left" but finishes like this kind of puts F1 to shame

I watched this race this morning without knowing what happened. It's fair to say i was taken by surprise! There have been some absolutely huge crashes in indycar racing in recent years and yet thankfully few injuries. But then racing a few inches apart at 220mph will cause problems Here's a few more off the top of my head:

I think rob is correct. I've had two mates with supras change their stem seals. The trademark sign seems to be blue smoke on startup, does the original poster have that?

Going to the metallica show at new wembley on sunday. Anyone else going? I've heard parking is terrible but my friend really, really doesnt want to go on the underground and is determind to make us drive there. Does anyone know anywhere nearby or is it a case of park up miles away and get the bus?

Me and the boys go to marbella each year. If theres enough of you (8 or so) get a villa somewhere near puerto banus which is where all the clubs are (and yachts ). The chicks are amazing and no chavs! Bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for

Im there friday and sunday. friday to walk around and look at everything (it takes a whole day) and sunday to sit by the track and watch the best cars on earth speed past. Cant wait

He is an awesome driver, just look at his history of championships. I think we will see if he's a truly great driver when: A) Mclaren no longer has the best car (which they do at the moment) or B) He moves to a slower team If he still stays near the front then he may well become the best driver of all time.
