  1. wow! just this "04112-46056 Valve Grind Kit" from Toyota and that's all needed for the valve stems replacement job? in this case, i'll order the part for my UK-spec too... thanks Nic!
  2. just check with CoxImport.com (located in Melbourne, AU) and they have stock for this part at $96.90. http://www.coximport.com/hks/hks_blowoff_valve_components/71002ak007/i-217346.aspx
  3. but i need the adapter/flange to mount the BOV and missing this piece of base metal now...
  4. bought the universal HKS Super SQV BOV unit and plan to mount it back to the original stock location, so will need the mounting bracket kit now. so anyone has this for sale (as shown in the attachment minus the BOV unit)? btw, i heard it's better to have the BOV recirculated (like factory setup) instead of vent to atmosphere for optimum performance, especially on UK-spec Supra TT auto - is this true?
  5. wow! this is really awesome... 2 horses + 1 black monster, i'm totally speechless!
  6. hahaha... just too many times this being reported but he's back again every now and then... like David Copperfield! guess there're just too many versions of Bin Laden out there...
  7. 1st turbo should kick in ~2K rpm then followed by the 2nd turbo ~4K rpm, on a stock sequential twin setup or unless you've upgraded the turbo or still leaking somewhere or bad VSV...
  8. suggest you thoroughly check the followings: - crank pulley (it will delaminate over the years and break into 2 pieces!) - V-belt tensioner pulley - vacuum hoses (possible leakage somewhere) - 1st turbo (death whine = f*cked up turbo!) and last but not least, check if there's a Gremlin hiding under the hood...
  9. wow! what is that? looks like a bleeder valve to me... or maybe i'm wrong... *scratching head*
  10. wow! nice blue Supra and welcome to the forum...
  11. mine came off pretty easy, just some muscle job and voila! try using an extension for more leverage + apply penetrating lube on the bolts (let it soak for an hour or so)... best of luck dude!
  12. Supra TT auto is just as good as a 6-speed manual if not faster. i'm a proud owner of a '95 Supra TT auto for 8 satisfying years now and loving it more each day. the fact is, it doesn't have that outdated look and feel unlike Mitsubishi GTO, Fairlady 300ZX or even NSX. if your budget is right, grab a Supra TT by all means!
  13. but Dude, you've a good point that i may end up wasting my $ on the 3rd rack repair kit IF the main shaft or other internal components could have damaged/worn due to age...
  14. oops... lemme explain in details... 1st rebuilt - mechanic didn't replace the super loose tie rods, so thought this could have prematurely worn the newly fitted rack seals due to vibration?! 2nd rebuilt - mechanic forgotten to put the "small metal tube" piece back into the rack assembly and got into vacuum mode, so ended up hammering the shaft out again and broke a seal. replaced the damaged seal with an old one (still in ok condition - no choice as new parts order will take at least a month!) but after a year now, it's leaking again... WTF! will be ordering my 3rd rack repair kit soon...
  15. hi Chris, it's the top/outer piece which slide into the base metal holder... not too sure if the part no. is 90980-11028 or could be something else?
  16. that sounds practical but my concern is, it may get worst as this connector is already so brittle...
  17. @Marc: it seems that your current hose connection is not the exact/correct factory setup! have a look at mine...
  18. physically, it's still connected except "dangling in the air" now since it can no longer clip (brittle and broken into pieces) to the metal base...
  19. ok, here you go... just tap onto the hose below the turbo pressure sensor port or unless my setup is wrong all these while but i doubt so!
  20. check out my pixs dude... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?244988-Project-quot-Samco-Sport-amp-Hallman-quot-replaced-old-vacuum-hoses-amp-MBC
  21. wow! this is very nicely done... amazing job and thanks for sharing!
  22. *ahemm* this Hallman Pro RX kit is not a conventional bleed valve actually... it's using ceramic ball + light spring design, so not venting the excess air to atmosphere unlike typical bleed valve. check this out... and this one too, MBC vs EBC on a STi... btw, i believe most electronic boost controllers are basically using the same ball-n-spring design concept + electronic control for auto climate compensation + scramble mode.
