    Hello!

As Dunk says, that's a UK spec quote. They are a LOT cheaper to insure, often half the premium for younger drivers. You would need to up your budget by a massive amount, almost double, to get a UK TT unfortunately. Good luck in your hunt though
  2. One day a few months ago we had breakfast 4 times. Once for each meal. Don't get me wrong the food was different but they were all breakfast ingredients and items
  3. Recaros were definitely from facelift introduction on the RZ, no idea on the wheel though.

    Hello!

They come in N/A and twin turbo, autos included. You will struggle to get a good TT for your budget but if you are patient and know what to look for you might get lucky. One thing to be careful of is that you are being quoted on a MKIV twin turbo and not a MKIII. You're quote is very good but it is a common mistake by the insurance companies. Edit: also be careful that you are being quoted on an import as you won't get a uk car for that money.
  5. I'm pretty sure they boil snow for water though? Is that not survival 101 to those types? I would really struggle on an expedition, I'm far to fussy an eater to settle for any old canned rubbish. I could see how far the limits of dominos 30 mins or less promise goes but their pizza isn't all that great either. I was thinking more along the lines of a nice spaghetti bolognese due to it's simplicity. I can only see the water continuously reducing at a rate faster than the snow I'm shovelling in can heat. I really don't enjoy overly firm pasta though so I would probably just abandon the treck. As for eating pot death at this time, I'm not really one for the whole time of the day means you eat x. I just have what I fancy really. I've seen me with a madrass at 7 in the morning (that was nightshift though). I also often have takeaway for breakfast if there is any left from the night before. I'm the mad man that eats crisps after sweets remember
  6. I have an inquisitive mind when I'm bored lol. Ahh, you are quite the survivalist Ewen. It could also be considered a handy anti terrorism device. What with Terrorism being the main pastime in Dorset.

    Hello!

Welcome mate. What websites are you checking? The supra didn't come in single turbo bud, well not the mkiv anyway. If you are looking at single turbo cars then they have been modified to that level. Single turbos are generally 500+ horsepower so quite a jump from stock levels. Any variant of TT will seriously shift. Most things on the road will be left for dust by a BPU Supra so they aren't slouches. You can get a manual N/A for good money, if you really want the manual, but if power is what you crave then there is no comparison. Happy hunting
  8. Im sitting here burning my mouth off while eating a pot noodle thing and I had a random thought. We often boil water to kill germs and to sterilise, for example a babies bottle, but what happens when you are at a higher altitude? If you were at the top of a mountain where water boils a lot cooler, how can you be sure that the water is hot enough to kill the bacteria? Do you check it constantly with a thermometer? Making home brew at the everest summit must be a nightmare! I can imagine having to start off with 3l in order to get 1l of water by the time it has properly boiled lol. Cooking things would be hard too as just about everything says not to allow it to boil. Would make for an interesting come dine with me though.
  9. To be fair I think a run of the mill alarm would be fine as the squatters rights is based on empty uninhabited properties. There are a lot of loopholes to be exploited but I doubt there would be any doubt if an alarm was triggered. The trouble is that in most cases the buildings are being renovated or are unoccupied waiting on i dotting and t crossing with flittings etc. They are sneaky smelly hippies with a lot of options, so they will most likely steer clear of alarmed properties. Not to say they wont try kicking the door in to see if it goes off. Lockfast doors and a couple of angry rottweilers would make for cracking entertainment though
  10. It doesn't unfortunately. This is the reason I started this thread, I was honestly in disbelief as to what is going on in some areas of the country. I couldn't comprehend how strangers could enter your home and then claim rights to being in it. On the show I watched there were always a few of them in the house. You only saw 2 or 3 leaving at any one time yet when they eventually got evicted there were at least a dozen of them. My guess is that if you did "break in" they would film you on their mobile phone, or camcorder or whatever and then phone the police. The law can do nothing to help you and must follow protocol so if there was video evidence you would most likely be done.
  11. I know it doesn't help, but clearly they aren't. It would be better to get them to re-inflate the tyre and take the car somewhere else.
  12. Yes. I don't think Blossom has contributed to a thread where someone hasn't asked that
  13. Just to add, my mates driven a van with a solid cabin for years and not crashed... even in the rain in the dark
  14. He wasn't asking for a passenger ride
  15. I must admit I've never had any problems. A scoot of rain x every now and again does all I need
  16. Can you not just drive it like that?
  17. 50% though? There are guys here that work with Toyota, the best they can normally do is 20% and in most cases 10% iirc. Easy way to check, find out the normal retail price. Glass are around £350 all in, pre-facelift are around £280 and facelift are around £550.
  18. Nope, the facelift ones are around £500 However, 97 was definitely facelift so there is something up with your mates IPC.
  19. Do you mean the 2 stereo brackets? It isn't a box for the supra, it's 2 seperate brackets that screw into the side of the headunit. If so I think I have a pair. I can't remember if I sold them or not.
  20. Get it gone, looks much sleaker without it.
  21. I'm really happy with how they have came out. Just waiting on the collars to dry and then I'll be able to re-assemble It was actually a daunting process, if they came out crap they would be on show constantly. Hopefully it'll last
