  1. Hi Chris, they both work just fine it's just something I noticed while swapping them around during testing.
  2. Hi, I'm just about to replace the hose from the power steering reservoir to the pump, since my old one needed to be replaced. Does anyone have any tricks or tips ? Once the pipe is on and I have filled up the reservoir, I assume I can leave the cap of the reservoir off while the engine runs so, I can turn the wheels from side to side to get the air out ? or will fluid go everywhere ? Any other advice ? Cheers Pete Oh, I have already read this. http://web.archive.org/web/20041209173121/www.reepa.com/psflush.php
  3. Both units are from 95 UK spec cars but, one is Auto the other Manual. Why the different numbers before the airflow direction arrow ? 1 = Manual 2 = Auto Part numbers are the same. Bar codes are different. 1 = 502210129552 2 = 502210129804
  4. I have in the past need to look at photo's of a UK spec MAF off the car but, they seem to be a little hard to find so, while I had mine off, I took a few pic's. This will show how they are different to the Jspec 98on MAF's. Maybe they could be added to the FAQ/Guide section ? Part Number 22250-46030 RRP £619:52 inc. VAT. The arrow on the bottom of the MAF indicates the airflow direction but, if you use the bolt holes to install on the piping bracket, then it can only be fitted one way.

WOW, a supra that is actually finished!!! Well, almost All the best Ian, your "I see you have taken steps to cover " joke about my engine photo will always put a smile on my face Another legend steps down....
  6. My situation was different, by the time I fitted it, and the car had cooled down, the pipe was empty since, it has leaked everywhere I have to say that the way the Toyota clips are pre-extended (kept open with a small metal red clip) was great, easy to slide on and then just ping off the small red clip holding the hose clip open and then then it snaps right in place. I guess you could use a small container to catch any fluid loss as you take the old one off and would guess an
  7. Rad Hose T16571-46150 Mr T's price is £11.15 + Vat Rad Clips x 2 T90467-37005 Mr T's price is £4.55 + Vat each. £23.79 all in. VERY easy to fit = no tools. I just had to loan a screw driver to take the other pipe off.

I was hoping that someone locally might be able to help me out for tonight. The Toyota garage will have a new stock hose and clips for me by 10am tomorrow.
  16. a couple of photo's of the split in the other end of the hose that is not leaking yet. There area where it is leaking is at the water neck hose. Does anyone know how much coolant the alternator can take before packing up ?
  17. I'm visiting Bracknell and will be attending the Reading meet tonight but, on the way down to Bracknell this morning, I have just found that one of the silicone hoses on the polished rad pipe is split and is pissing coolant everywhere.
