  1. Gavin, I only purchased the car in April from the Toyota dealer and had a B service done there as well in July. Nothing has changed, it's just that I wanted to make things a little tighter now that I am getting used to it. I would have thought that if the shocks had a problem then they would have raised it at the B service. Dealers always find something wrong with your car and advise to get it changed but, only the front brake pads this time. (I had planned for this anyway) They could have missed it, but as I say, I do not have any issues with it at the moment, it's just I would prefer to make it tighter. I hope this helps.
  2. Hi, I have been looking through the search entries but, have not found the answer to my question. I have a stock 95 UK TT Auto with 86k miles. I feel the stock set-up is OK but, I have not driven anything to compare with it but, I would like to remove some of the body roll but, not at the expense of ride quality, it’s firm enough for my liking. Can I just change out the springs to something like the Eibachs ? Lowering the car for looks is not my main concern but, do not want to lower it and then encounter ride height problems when I want to put the HKS Super Dragger/Hiper on very soon afterwards. I don’t really want to replace the whole suspension, as my funds will not go that far. Thanks for any advice.
  3. Raoul, I did not know that these chaps did this. I got my last lot of Yoko's from there as I work 5 mins away. I'd love to see them once they are finished ? Pete
  4. Hi, I got a quote from S&P for my UK 17" stock rims and they gave me this: £169.6 for 4 rims £29.68 VAT £199.28 - Total £24 - Plus £6 per rim for wheel balance/valve £223.28 - Grand total They have 3 options: 1, Send them in via courier 2, Bring them in by hand 3, Book the car in 1&2 takes 2-3 days turnaround time 3 is done in a day. I think I will talk to JIC
  5. I asked Toyota to quote for a new carpet as, I have a patch were it looks like bleach has been spilt and eroded the carpet. However, I can cover it with the passengers floor mat for the mo. Toyota wanted £1k with a three week wait from Japan. Then another couple of hundred to fit it. I decided that with my first grand, I will make her go faster rather than change the carpet!
  6. And when you first saw this, what were you first words "WTF" and took your foot of the loud pedal
  7. I thought that at first, when I switched from the P6000’s that were on the car when I got it. However, maybe I have just gotten accustom to them (4000ish miles into them) but, they are not too bad now. But I will be going with the S03’s next time.
  8. I only noticed this last weekend but, have been using it for some time now. You will find that it feels like you have two throttle pressure settings. 1, For normal in town driving and 2, To have some fun on the open roads. Enjoy :flame Dev
  9. Mike, It does look very like Paul's. See http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/suprabodykitwhifbitz.htm
  10. Chris, will you be able to post some photo's when you have fitted it as I can not decide if I want the Black or Silver on my Black Supe. Ta.

  12. Hi, Hi, I have been looking at the various Mufflers over the last few weeks and like the look of the HKS Super Dragger and from what people are saying the noise of the HKS Hiper. (This needs to be confirmed with my own ears first! Hmmmm) So, it sounds like the Super Dragger II is the one of me, but it looks like a cheap polished pipe that you would buy down at Halfords for £10. i.e. one pipe showing inside another which has put me right off! Does the original SD look like this when you take a peep down the pipe ? I guess I will have to wait until I can meet up with some of you guy’s and take a listen to your systems before I make my final decision.
  13. Do you have any better pic's of this on your car ?
  14. Can any Hiper owners explain if it is OK on the motorway ? or do you get a little ****** off with it after 200 miles? Or Is it worth it putting up with it on the motorway, if the rest of the time is just sounds beautiful!
  15. Yeah, Soz - Not had my coffee yet! Cheers man.
  16. Gavin, Can you send me the high res picture. Thanks mailto:[email protected]
  17. Gavin, What kind of price range are we talking here for this type of service ? I have 4 stock UK rims that are in need of this. Thanks.
  18. Can someone point me to these sound clips as I want to hear these beauties in action before I upgrade my stock one. I have read info and seen some threads about this but, it’s all down to personal taste. Thanks.
  19. Thanks Martin - Most useful.
