  1. James, see http://www.racelogic.co.uk/launch.htm as they can put it better than me. I do not use this as I have an auto.
  2. Just a note to say that Tesco did not charge me an additional premium for RLTC
  3. I had CW fast road pads fitted in November and then braided S/S hoses fitted and DOT5.1 in December and the difference from stock is very noticeable - good pedal feel and much better stopping. Well-pleased - Thanks Chris/Paul and for Terry advising on the CW pads.
  4. Yeah, aftermarket electronics hate it too - anything from guages to controllers. I fried an Apexi AVC-R last time I done it... Gaz. I did not know that. I have only done this once and then purchased a new battery but, thanks anyway. I'll remember this.
  5. Also see an online version http://www.maribi.com/conversion/
  6. I got my launch control FOC as it was the only system that the supplier had in stock at the time. Launch control is only for Manual cars.
  7. Yep, I think this is a must. RL quoted me £240 + Vat for half day fitting or £400 + Vat for full day fitting, so, I guess it depends on how long it takes them. Time quoted is 4hrs but, this can vary. This was just 3 weeks ago! You can see the pricing on their web page. £160 fitted is a steal
  8. I have a UK spec with full decat and Hiper and am running 0.91bar. I understand that stock boost is at 0.8bar and fuel cut is at 0.96bar however, I do have the VFCC from Pete installed which, has upped the cut threshold to 1.241bar. I hope this helps.
  9. Yeah, They are so easy to clean with just the normal shampoo and water. F.Y.I. I have a full decat, Hiper and FCD and with the new gauge am seeing what boost I am getting with this set-up. 0.9bar max......time for a boost controller soon methinks :flame Dev
  10. Cheers Buddy I see you have new wheels now UK spec eh!
  11. Not sure Neil ? Paul ? Gaz, He did remove all of the blades but, put them into a box ready for the bin. I know that Flavio was able to remove them intact so that he could replace them if he sold the car and wanted to remove the gauges but, Paul had a few problems doing this so, he snapped them off. (With my approval)
  12. Cheers Gaz. Hi Paul, YOU were right - Don't think, just get it fitted! Thanks
  13. Hi Bobbeh, The RLTC unit costs around £600 (£725 from RL) + Fitting 4-5hrs & Vat. (RL charge £250 for 1/2 day or £400 for full day fitting) & Vat. I did not pay anything near what RL charge I did not ask about how they did the dash, but know it has been done on a couple of soops by TorqueIC as they were in the workshop at the time I just need a stencil kit or to be honest I think I will get a custom sticker made up to put around the knob - White on black methinks to match the rest of the dash. I guess Leon is closer to you though ?
  14. Hi Gaz, I assume that you could try and get a replacement from Toyota if it's that new ? I got a new one from Toyota (Octagon) in Jul and it's been OK so far.
  15. Thanks B3any I use the climate control all the time and have just been using the windscreen and foot well blowers together, during the summer and winter months to test if I could live with just these vents first. I can, so it worked out The heater in the soop is really good and fast at warming up
  16. OK, last one! Boost during the day.
  17. A side profile of the Boost gauge to show how they sit in the air vent.
