Its moot point If something performs better under std / dyno conditions - why would it perform worse than a knackered stock one when hot etc? The knackered stock one would probably degenerate even faster...! And thats whats importent here

No - I was going to stock the hybrid ones - but these are not from the same people (but tbh all from same place I expect) The 'uprated' SMIC's I do are UK made

The only reason i havent spent huge cash on power 'was' the rigidity issue. Now i know its not a massive problem, i'll have a T51R, 3.4 stroker kit, and a fuel system to match please. No probs mate Mastercard will do nicely - just give it to me and dont worry - you wont feel a thing!

Never had a prob with the 2 x PWR fitting I have done BTW - i have a neelsons rad etc here if you are interested? This problem of heat seems strange - seems to effect one car and not another... However - why take the chance and spend all that extra money?

Ahh..there's the rub mate As you and I both know from experience - the restrictive nature of an FMIC can cause mucho problems... with the rad and heat soak capability etc IMHO I would only use a 2 row that had really good air flow through to the rad Hang on - I have an article hear from Modified Mag in the USA doing a test on some of the ebay ones - I'll see if I can find it...
