  1. How to be done... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=xetS5MN1Rf4&feature=related How not to be done http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=f1-FuMLNMKk&feature=related
  2. i would prefer to see the front lights stock and the dash too but looks nice and tidy.
  3. True but finding one of these is like looking for a 6 speed getrag! Isnt nessessary but weight difference between the N/a diff' and TT Lsd is greatly increased, plus adds balance to the drivetrain and i wouldnt do only half a job!
  4. propshaft mod for rear flange, drive shafts and not forgetting second bush for rear sub frame.
  5. if your stuck let me know as i may have one somewhere in the depths of my spares!
  6. you can pick them up for 150-200
  7. saw quite a nice supe parked up in the carpark as i was exiting? anyone on here
  8. very good question, i think you would get the stock mounts, there both stock but i mean older generation ones, not all supras of that age had them fitted, on my document it just says "newer type" which is very vague. i should have a set of them mounts if you want to pm me an offer, was going to use the later ones...but never got around to fitting them,i just have the mounts now, thery sit at a slightly different angle.
  9. in effect 2 sensors, 1 from speed sensor on g/box other is from cc ecu, see diagram looks like i have parkinsons from the lines i drew, i blame it on the trackball..... p.s do you happen to have the cc ecu fitted?
  10. dosent make any difference as signals on tt come frome same place, for your setup ie 5 spd i would imagine your problem maybe with the w58 speed sensor on the gearbox, located on the side failing that it could stem from the delimiter mentioned below.. "The n/a clock was swapped for the TT one and transfered my original converter/delimiter over to the TT clock but its not working correctly - please can anyone shed any light on this" where was the n/a delimiter situated, mine was situated behind the clocks in the front loom so there was no need to touch this, just unplug the dials and change..when you say its not working correctly do you mean its not working at all,or does function but not at correct speed or varies and waves around alot?
  11. the n/a tacho gets its signal from the negative side of the coil where as the tt tacho gets its signal from the ecu, as for the diff/speedo thing, i did both and found very little difference as diff ratio's on tt/n/a are very much alike apart from the drop off in 6th.... anyway you will need to mod/rewire part of the front engine loom into the fusebox for the 2nd efi relay/fuse. also you may have spares for the electric colling fan relays which fit behind the front light.
  12. thats very true, just connect the wires to the emanage and vacum pipe into the sensor.
  13. my dads still got 3 of them.... what a twxt!
  14. not far from me then...hope car is what you wanted.
  15. does anyone have a spare antenna relay which i could borrow as a means of testing or even buy. cheers andy
  16. i dont see what the fuss is about if thats what he's done! certainly wouldnt put me off if the jobs been done correctly......
  17. I always thout the TACHO was the Rev Counter!
  18. ive also got a 55k ge engine i want to do,a micra would be ace i think, i can get a rover for nowt but id prefer the micra for power to weight,i knew someone years ago who did a xr3i motor in a reliant robin and it felt unsafe as hell.....
  19. toyota does just sell the lenses, about 100 quid a piece? i bought one in november..
  20. why did you swap the speedo? you only need the tt tacho?
  21. Not mine but a bargain to be had, just needs undertray to be done properly http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/toyota-supra-bonnet-scoop-original_W0QQitemZ260221051576QQihZ016QQcategoryZ10428QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
