  1. got this baby off Lui, but alas neither of us know what type this is which means im not sure if the current supra wiring kits will work. my one has 5 wires, 3 of which are in a plug. i have ordered one from Envy who also wasnt sure,. what do you guys know..
  2. sorted, in the daylight i could see. took the i/c pipe off the TB looked down it past the first butterfly and what do i spy. left over rubber hose from the old i/c hose..
  3. bad choice of words then, its not slack and its not being pulled,ie its in rest position.
  4. so the 2nd valve should be completly shut with engine off, yes. getting dark now so will have to look tomoorrow. ta for help so far guys, keep it coming.
  5. replaced the i/c hose that connects to TB, also the pipe in the pic to the right of the TB i had removed and put back as i didnt have enough replacement hose. yes checked floor mat also, as i said the cable is in the rest positionm ie slack
  6. some pics. when i pushed this down as far as i could the RPM does drop, should the lever be touching, does it look right
  7. do you mean the butterfly valve at the end fo the TB just before the i/c pipework connects to the TB, ,this is in an open position. otherwise the throttle cable etc are all in the rest/idle position.
  8. just went for a test drive to make sure i got no boost leak after changing a couple of I/C hoses when a strange thing happened. put my foot to the floor, got up to max boost, took foot off the go pedal but the car kept on going, had to switch off ignition to stop the car. i checked the throttle cable and pedal and all are in there rest/idle position. started car again and still revs to redline. had to do a bit of start car, into D go for a bit, switch off and coast in N.. any ideas.

  13. dont hink i can make 6.15, although was planning to get up there for 7pm
  14. anytime man, need to network with the local soop owners. yep sure am, what time you guys going
  15. just had another test run, peak boost .62 i believe thats with both turbos, i can hear #2 spool up and can feel the extra oomph when it comes online. im hoping just a leak, but cant find it, checked all the obvious.
  16. yeh ive seen that one around. @ jazz1 you local to hayes, im just up the road in hillingdon, just snooping out the other soop locals..
  17. right just went for a blast up the motorway, still same problem, however this time i reset the peak boost reading (didnt last time) and then turned controller off, reading was .67 which i guess i more in line with stock boost. so having said that maaaaaybe the controller is at fault ???
  18. nope. first noticed the problem 9.15pm on the motorway last wednesday night, have also tested in the AM time and other times all the same, even with the boost controller off the peak boost is the same at .96 certainly notice the difference in vehicle pull. Also thinking about it, if air temp has effected my soop to that degree then putting it on a dyno, with then huge fans running, would then put the boost back to how it was.
  19. mine are for sale if you want em
  20. yeh, theyseem to be scooby and evo specialists nowdays.
  21. gona have to book my car into power engineering to have them diagnose my boost problem (on a rolling road) , anyone used them before. Would of liked to taken the car back to Phoenix but power engineering are 2 miles from my house and watford is more like 15miles and so is a bugger to arrange time off work to get there and back.
  22. errm now you got me, i havent touched the settings since i bought the car (still finding out about this turbo shizle). certainly not seeing any diff in peak boost with the tru boost on or off ive recently replaced all the vacuum pipes, problem didnt arise for 2 weeks after.
