  1. 1) I'd say the seller will get the compensation as he paid for the recorded delivery. 2) If you have not received the item, then yes you should get a refund from the seller (i guess via paypal dispute) 3) Again postal issues are the sellers problem. he paid for the service, he gets the compensation, its his problem.
  2. sooo did i earn my vodka then. yes yoru right, if its perforated then it will happen again so it should be replaced, the PRV is still leaking cause 99% of the time once they are blown they get dirt and crap in there an will not seal up, so that needs replacing also. Doubt BG will repalce the original vessel, instead we will add an external vessel. Get back on the phone and get them to sort it OR tell em your being contacting Chris Wesen the MD of BG.
  3. is it coming out the PRV outside.
  4. the external vessel would hook up to your flow or return pipe from the boiler so no need to dig up pipes.
  5. bingo. lol i work for BG, not all things are evident at time of service you know. you might get away with simply pumping the vessel back up using a pump, however the diaphram may well be perforated. cant recall where the exp vessel is on the compact, but if its not easy to get outm then fit an external vessel, easy enough, 30 mins work or so..
  6. what boiler is it, combi ?. the pressure is for the heating, doesnt have anything to do with the water, apart from lack of water in the boiler itself of course (then it shouldnt fire up) hot water generlly runs on a seperate setup on most boilers. have you checked the presure relief valve that come from the boiler to the outside of the house, could be leaking there. its poss the exp vessel could be faulty, but generally if it was you would see a drastic rise in the pressure, (3/4bar etc) could be rising above 3bar and blowing out the PRV (but hten you should here this happen) and as a result empting itself. really need to know what boiler it is
  7. lol yeh yeh was waiting fot the inuendo. so spray with WD to protect, assume that excess is wiped off. but do you give me a clean first before spraying, if so what do you use. a simple metal cleaner etc.
  8. just wondering, all those with polished bits under the hood, how do you keep it shiny. im debating how best to protect and clean my newly polished pipes. either a clear high temp laquer or maybe chrome plating (expense), or maybe el naturel.
  9. skydiving, martial arts, thats what i do in my spare time.
  10. sorry i meant strut bar not brace. ta who any contact there in particular came across this site https://www.1sttoyotaparts.com/partscat.html
  11. like rear strut brace and lower suspension arm #1 got some nto too bad prices but wondering if you guys use other places.. ta
  12. last picture, bottom bit of metal, workshop manual says its a strut brace.
  13. yeh been looking at some wheel repair sites, seems it may be repairable. think ill stop being an idiot rather than spending 500 quids lol
  14. imagine the dilema when faced with width restrictions. cause im facing the wrong way do i go through the left side (correct side for the way im facing) or the wrong side (correct way for the direction im travelling)
  15. im an honest guy... last pic shows the strut brace bend, doesnt look a lot..but might be enough though..
  16. yep very lucky really, had to drive home in reverse (approx 1mile) so as to keep the wheel straight, if i went forward the wheel was pointing like the fronts when turning right and would rub on the arch. hoping nothing else is bent. fingers crossed
  17. Then i am the master. pulled out of a carpark onto a duel carriage way (40mph limit type) giving couple of mates a lift into town, blip the throttle for a little arse out action, all going extremly well, decide to hang on a second longer, but then the tyres catch there grip and fling me the direction, of course i lock the other way as central reservation is in front of me now, and manage to parallel park into the busstop layby facing the other way, hitting the kirb. (no traffic throughout this episode). managed to frig my wheel of course. and snap lower suspension #1 and bend the strut brace. could have been a lot worse, lesson learnt ...stop being an idiot. dont think the parts will be expensive, main issue is the wheel, dont know if id like to have a repaired wheel on there.
  18. yep, caught the 2nd and 3rd episode, lol all very american over the top aint it..
