Hi so the dipping and e coat goes everywhere including into all the box sections where if I had it blasted it would still have rust in those areas but they will also be spraying stuff into all areas also

So bit more progress Car is completely Seam sealed and the engine bay is almost ready for paint. Car been raptored and painted. This will be left a couple of days to cure before masking off on top to paint the inside

So The Bumper has been prept and all the paint removed, which was a pain in the ass apparently , but as you can see like all supra bumpers the cracks are all the way back to the bare plastic. They were then repaired acordinally using novel plastic filler to give the best life chance of it not happening over time again. Also managed to get the bumper in the first stage of primer and also blasted and isolated small parts, which are now ready for colour. They even took the door handles completely apart so that the edge of the handle looks as good as the rest of the paint because , well the devils in the detail. They are hoping to get the car on the rotisserie tomorrow if goes well.

we have solar and hive thermostats, getting boiler serviced cleaned next week but heating not come on yet. in cornwall (tropics) so still warm here

so replacement bumper collected Saturday delivered Sunday and there on it straight away removing the paint so as to make sure no paint cracking or crazing

Spray filler blocked on the Body and most of the panels and then into isolator ready for primer at a later stage. Will get rest of the panels Prept early next week for primer, Mirrors, Door handles etc and then time for the body to go on to the rotisserie

So rear bumper sourced thanks to Simon bignum picking it up at the weekend then straight to retro roadsports for James and Kane to sort
