  1. And those sensors in the doors are working as the interior light goes on and off when opening and closing both doors! The $1million question now is the alarm also wired up to the "door open circuit" making it think the doors are always open and does that also go to aditional switches under bonnet and boot? Think this may go over and above my abilities
  2. Well the door switches must be fine as the internal cabin light goes on when either door is opened and off again when the door is closed I'm thinking now maybe something i've done when I had the dash off! Might of missed something or knocked a wire loose.
  3. Cool i'll have a look when i'm off work, I presume the door latches come off quite easily thanks for the info bud
  4. Mine is my only driver too but i've got 12 days off coming up Although if it has to be a faulty switch I may have a look, is it just the two door switches or are there any more?
  5. okay so probably the door switch circuit is permanantly connected somewhere.... (Think I might give the car to an auto electrician , easier:innocent:)
  6. Nobody? Guess i'll get a car electrical place to give it a once over, hopefully they'll be able to find the fault as the ECU is reading no codes:Pling: the original alarm installers are nearby might give them a call
  7. That was my first thought the switches aren't on the doors they are on the end of the latch on the bodywork pushed them in both sides and light still stays on (at least I can drive the car now though ) Any thoughts or owners of Meta Systems alarms?
  8. My car is now fixed and back on the road!!! (thanks for the parts Jezz ) ....However the "door open light" is now on permanantly, to give a bit more info the car has been sat for 6 weeks dead battery which I disconnected in the end..! Once my brakes were fixed re-connected the battery jump started it indicators didn't work (forgot to plug harzard light connector back in on dash panel ) though right everything sorted. But the "door open light" stays on even with the key out of the ignition and the doors locked??? I'm thinking the alarm maybe the issue i've got a META M999T any ideas?

  15. have you got a brake pedal mounting bracket that also houses the stoplight switch cheers
  16. (posted in traders section also:innocent:) Hi Jezz, did you get my PM i've noticed i'm quite close so if you have both parts (brake booster + brake pedal mounting bracket) I could drive over on Wednesday to pick them up and pay cash!
  17. If it's just the one then caliper sliding pins could be jammed or the brake line could have collapsed inside preventing the brake fluid from returning after releasing the brake keeping the brake on! Hope that helps also to diagnose if it's the brake line not the caliper open the bleed nipple if this releases the brake then you know to replace the brake line! To see if it is released jack the car up and try to spin the wheel you'll know if it's released or not.
  18. Hi looking for the ally bracket that the brake pedal mounts onto that also has the brake light switch (this bit has broken off on mine) and also a brake booster(servo)
