Soooo is it a myth that normal unleaded can knacker your engine, there must be somebody who has blown a piston or something using 95 ron otherwise where has the high octane debate come from ?????

Had my TT a couple of weeks now and have not been able to floor it from a standstill once due to the spin, and cant give it any over 4k revs due to 2nd turbo giving toooo much:( :(

In a nutshell I was told that running on low octane will result in A) Poor performance B) More importantly will cause the engine to run HOT and will cause damage to the pistons over a shortish time

mines auto TT untuned, fast enough for me............................................ up to yet, but we all said that when we first got one :D

Ive only had mine TT for a few weeks , my previous most powerfull car was a 3ltr Capri, those were the days, no comparison to the TT supra mine. Not a good time to experience your new Supra , I havnt been able to plant my foot down since buying it due to damp wet road conditions :( However its the VERY best time to buy and grab a bargain, thats if the owner is willing to let theirs go for what the market will pay , check ebay out , forget looking at whats for sale take a look at COMPLETED items and see how many are unsold due to too higher reserves.You would be surprised at how low the high bids are. I got mine from a dealer and got it for nearly £2.5 k off his asking price. :) :d
