final destination 3 -very good film. yeah the plot is a bit obvious but very s(l)ickly done. dont think i remember any film critic giving it a bad rating and many agreeing that it pulled off the unusual feat of being better than the first one. pretty gorey aswell compared to the other 2 and will make you think twice about going on anymore rollercoasters

hey dave, how did you find the job of removing the dash? im wanting to change the headunit soon and am guessing il need to take the dash off to do it

as many who are trying to sell their supras are finding out the market isnt at its best right now. is there any reason for this?? i mean you get hell of a lot of car for the money and dont see many about. i know insurance and running costs are bit more expensive but surely this cant be the only reason??? my mate just spent £11k on a new punto so i had to point out to him that he could have almost 2 of my cars for that price and is now considering selling up to get one.

theres a couple on autotrader in your price range but bearing in mind they are the cheapest on there you get what you pay for.

jake - regarding your first post. the cops couldnt have seen if i was young or not from where they were and i wasnt giving it 'large' as you stated and as with the exhaust mine is hardly loud. so how you can suggest that thats how it 'probably' was is a bit confusing. yes i said i was a bit heavy footed but not to the extent of speeding.

whenever ive been pulled in the past ive always been apologetic and curtious as i find if you are cocky the tend not to let you off as lightly but his quote of 'we'll be the judge of that' almost got me saying what i was really thinking. about their views on the cornering asspects, at what point would it be classed as dangerous if you are within the speed limit going around a corner??. they might aswell pull me over whenever i drive as surely control can be lost at anytime driving.

just popped out to tesco and on the way came to a crossroads. the lights went green for me so i turned right at the lights as intended but at the same time noticing a patrol car opposite. As i went to turn i admit i was a little heavy footed but not enough to send the speedo beyond 30mph. carried on pootling down the road for about 50yards when to my surprise the patrol comes flying around the corner with lights and sirens on full steam. they decided to pull me over in the middle of town with the usual piss heads giving it large with their cocky comments. and the officer giving it the 'what do you think all that was about??' he went on to state 'its a supra,3 litre, its a fast car, arent you a bit young to be drivin one??' (the cheeky fecker!!) but at this point i decided to be corprative and just bite my tongue until.... copper: so what were you thinking back there? me:that i wanted to turn right and did so within the speed limit. copper: well we'll be the judge of that!!!. at this point my blood was starting to boil as i knew i hadnt gone over the limit yet if i decided to react to that comment they could (afaik) done something. so just stood there feeding him with my false apologies and sorrows and was told to be on my way and that if i want to drive at those sort of speeds to do it on the motorway :blink: 20mph on the motorway?!?! anyway that was my first time pulled in the supe and just had to share it as it really pissed me off. just out of curiuosity can the prosocute you for accelarating but staying within the limit??

i had never driven an automatic before buying my supe and had a 5 hour journey to pick it up so it would have been one hell of a wasted journey if i had decided i didnt like it but the chaps on here had assured me it was a good box and thankfully i took their advice and havnt looked back

interesting thread this one. the company im working for at the moment had a guy die on a job through a heart attack yesterday morning and it is being looked into whether or not the temprature played a part and if so how much of a part. Although there a no official rules about working in high tempratures many companies have their own policies so maybe worth reading up on the companies health and safety policies.

As you all most probably know it was pretty damn hot today! and with me being an outdoor worker was looking forward to returning home a darker shade than i left. At the moment we are building a new school and to our surprise today we were told we had to keep our tops on because of the little kids at the current school on the premises. So iv got home now still with a nice pale stomach and the darkest face and arms ever looking like your typical brit who has just arrived abroad!! gota get it sorted by the weekend as me and a few of the guys are off on a wee trip so unless it rains iv gotta prepare myself for the piss take thats goin to follow

with the supe in auto and the foot gets planted it drops down a cog. depending on the speed it obviously chooses 1st or 2nd. however in some situations when iv needed to floor it so to say i find that im going to fast for it to go into 1st so it selects 2nd yet the revs are really low resulting in minimal pull. so i was wondering at what revs/speed should you be at to get the best results when you put your foot down in auto???

nope mines an n/a. had to have it when i saw it as i knew i could turbo it at a later date and still work out less than a lot of n/a's around the same price edit: thought you were asking is mine a TT.
