i saw a pic of a thunder grey celica with black spoke alloys and a polished lip on a celica forum and looked pretty neat. i was planning having these sort of alloys on my supe but the colour isnt as dark (quicksilver) as the toyota thunder grey so not so sure now. has anyone got pics or know of any of a quicksilver supe with these on?

i agree with you blitz each to their own, if you are happy with your spoiler then thats all that matters. i hope the next big thing is standard, if it is just shows that ive got my finger on the pulse

for a long time my opinion has been that only the mistubishi eclipse could pull off the blitz front bumper but im pleasantly surprised with your supe, looking very nice.

was planning to de-spoiler mine when i got it. now owning one i have decided against it imo the spoiler is like a trademark for the supra.

the scum that do shit like that to other peoples cars should be shot. iv got a car up for sale at the moment and a guy came to see it yesterday and said would i knock anything off for the scratch! i was like 'what scratch?' some little shite had keyed it the night before, the ba****s!!!

yeah my front bumper is fine. in bright sunlight the rear bumper is fine but in overcast conditions it looks well out of place. guess i might just have to live with it

just checked the vin plate and its most certainly 1B9. i'l take some pics tomorrow when theres better light

i picked up my 'it-hought-it-was-gunmetal-but-found-out-its-quicksilver' supe a couple of weeks back and have finally convinced myself that the rear bumper is a different silver. i was going to get some rear spats (veilside i think) along with sideskirts in a couple of months so will be getting the entire bumper sprayed quicksilver then. as i wasnt planning on this i have no idea of the cost. how much could i be expecting to pay for a complete bumper respray?

LSD are a very reputable company. iirc their kits cost around £1000.

they vary a lot on your location aswell as im 24 0 no claims and got it for approx 1k. by putting my father as a second driver made it £250 cheaper that was with admiral btw (on an n/a, a tt was cheaper again )

bearing in mind if you decide to argue it and they still decide on the fine then its more than likely going to be past the 'half price' fine stage. ive got to buy an annual permit to park outside my own house and the one day i forgot to display it the b*****s pounced and gave me a ticket. wasnt happy one bit so decided to argue against it and sent all my documents to them to show that i possess a valid permit and that it must have fallen off, well they accepted my excuse and the fine was cancelled. my point is if you have a decent arguement then by all means argue but if you havnt then its best just to pay up

call me stupid if this is complete rubbish burt but here goes. you say there is a delay in the change, which ive noticed,so change 1000rpm below the redline. when you do this during the slight dealy do the revs still climb nearer to the redline??

only started using the manual mode on mine a few days ago and i was gona post the same question. i hope they say you dont come of the revs i agree with you mattanna about it being eratic and i find myself passing straight through second and into third half the time!

regarding the cat D category im sure ive seen cars which have been stolen and then classed as cat D although they did not sustain any damage or was the advertiser trying to pull a quick one?

will be looking to get the supe lowered soon and was just wondering if id get away with just changing the springs. not sure just yet how low i want to go but was thinking about somewhere around 35mm. its currently on 17's although i will be changing them to 18's quite possibly 19's. has anyone had theirs done with just springs and whats the main differences between changing the springs or the whole suspension?
