  1. after 2 weeks of ownership some of the attention the car gets still surprises me but a comment made today takes the biscuit left the car as i went to a cash machine and a group of females wondered past. could hear them chatting away until one said 'look its the same car that wayne rooneys got'. does he ever post on here much or did the girl mistake it for an aston martin?
  2. mine doesnt have that but it has got a strange button :d i call mine the beast but i'l settle for 'it'
  3. i think this thread has the potential to be longest one ever!!

    Oh no....

situations like this suck big time. very similar thing happened to me last year. the chav fooked off straight away and sent his mom around to my house to have a go at ME for going into her car!! got the police involved but they couldnt do much because there was no injury but 'good cop' pointed out to the woman that if i had gone into her car then i would have dented it more as it would have been me going into her car and not hers scraping against mine. there was no sign of the actual driver, her son...why...because when he bumped into me he was pissed hence the quick getaway. was quality when me and his mom went to the pub to hear his side of the story and then he gets a slap off her in front of the whole pub:p . wnyway hope everything turns out ok for you:)
  5. some cracking replies guys earopete : yep, 110% certain its a button:blink:

  8. as the title says. ive found a little button switch thing which is located just below the mirror controls. its round with a little red light on.
  9. in direct sunlight there paint (quicksilver) seems to glitter. however the bumper doesnt seem to show up as much of a glitter (metalflake or whatever its called) could this be due to the plastic??
  10. came across this thread whilst searching for an answer to the same problem. i own a quicksilver supe and in some shades of light the bumpers colour looks well out. has anyone got anymore info or answers on this??

  17. oops posted it twice!! supra ownership does strange things to you
  18. well the title says it all, had the soop for a week now and the novelty and (big) smile still hasnt worn off. any stress or agitation is all gone after a quick blat in the beast. there have been a few surprises which i wasnt expecting, the first is how good it handles for such a big car. one thing that isnt as much of a surprise is the attention it gets- though i cant really blame anyone, just look at it!! its still a bit strange picking up the keys off the table and heading to the car that i used to have posters of on my bedroom wall (i was a wee lad at the time). DAVE past in his white supe last weekend, gave a little wave, then i thought what a stunning car.only then did i remember that i was sat in one:d All in all and pound for pound there is no comparison imo. some of the questions that get asked are comical along with most of the 1.2litres that wana race you Got to make the effort this weekend to take some proper pics of the supe and also sell the car which i forgot i had due to the supe turning up!!
