  1. Ive got a shiny knob (in chrome) you can have it for a tenner plus carriage, let me know if you would like a photo.
  2. Dont think I could handle such a boring colour either. :)
  3. Yes I got an error message on mine recently, of course I didnt have a clue what it said, till someone pointed out that a stoplight was out.
  4. Saw 2 in Hereford today, silver reg no S1, and that mad purple flip painted one that lives in Kington. Jealous as fcuk now I sold mine!
  5. There is a suspension stiffening thingy called TEMS, I guess its Toyota Electronically Managed Suspension, but on mine it doesnt seem to make any difference if its on normal or stiff. Not good if you cant get stiffer when required.
  6. Not sure what group insurance it is, but it was about £40 more than the Supe on renewal.
  7. Very bland, but performance for pennies, I own a 2.5 TT one, and its mad in a straight line, but horrible, ponderous handling. But as a way of raising a few grand I sold the Supra and bought the Soarer.
  8. Speaking of Christmas, I saw turkeys for sale in Sainsburys the other day, when I mentioned this at work, it started quite a debate about how long a turkey keeps in the freezer. Mrs Jones, the MDs wife, reckoned it was 3 months, Steve, the sales manager, said no more than 2 months; So I said, "Well I put one in the freezer yesterday, and when I opened the door this morning it was dead!!"

Boo Hoo, no shiny red Supra in my drive!! Enjoy it Gary, and give Karl a go sometime.
  10. Hah, very funny, I bet his mates will never let him forget that.
  11. My brother used to have a TT with 4 Wheel Steering, it was very quick, but when he drove my (sorry Carls, another story!) Supra, he said that the Supra turned in to corners sharper than the GTO. I think the TT 4WS is a lot of car for considerably less than n/a Supra money.
  12. Sure is one to get you noticed in. As discreet as a brass band (and I should know, my missus plays in one!)
  13. Well he has done it, and thoroughly deserved it was too.. Them muppets on ITV gave their "driver of the day" award to Schumi. WTF he made loads of errors. Just because he made up ground in clearly the fastest car. Driver of the day was JB for me.
  14. Yes, it sure seems difficult at first, but then pretty soon you find you are sitting on a sound investment.
  15. It saddens me, Dave, but hey life goes on. I am gonna do the adult thing and use the money towards a deposit on a house. Then by next summer hope to be solvent enough to get a TT. Thats the plan, anyway I still have my other toy, the soarer, cheap as chips, its mad in a straight line, but I am gonna miss the handling, and the image of the Supe.
  16. Heres my Supe for sale; http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/107803.htm Check it out
  17. Got my very clean one @ 4k on pistonheads, nobody has snatched my arm off yet. Good luck
  18. A good example of Canis Equus.
  19. Blue is certainly different, and spoilerless doubly so.
  20. Hey Dave, have you seen that blue spoilerless one in Leominster?
  21. Enjoy your biking, I had to give it up due to recurring neck injury. My ex boss had a CBR600RR, which I tried, it was superb. At the time I had a ZX9R, and I reckon the Honda was a match for it.
  22. Yeah it was car cleaning for me also, not one but three!! My Supe of course, the missus Civic, and my other toy, a Soarer. Bleedin knackering, just going to watch Touring car racing taped earlier.
