Thanks for all the support guys (and girl). It will be a tough few months, but it is not the end of the world, it just means I will have to put my plans back a few years. Wife is worried sh#tless with her job, but I have a feeling she is getting worried over nothing (she tends to think the worse at times)

As the title states, we have had a bad time lately, mostly due to money matters etc. plus looks like the wife will Be made redundant, so this is going to hit us hard with mortgage etc. so the work we had planned on the house has been pushed further into the future, and as for getting a Supra (which would come after work on house) that is way in the distant future. To say I'm gutted would be an understatement, but such is life. My membership is due this month, so because of recent events, I think I best let it run out as I can't see me getting a Supra within the next 3 years. But as soon as I have the funds to get one, I will be back

Me and the wife looked into getting a train up to blackpool a few years ago. With 75% off the full fare ticket,It still worked out cheaper to take the car. I can only get free travel on southern trains, and also on south west trains but thats only if i don't come across a guard on a power trip. But in all, yes the fares are sky high ps,,, I may add at this point that the fares have nothing to do with me, or engineering works. I just drive the bloody things from A to B then to C, Then back to A, then to D back to A to D to A to D to A to D to A

If there is a light fitted, I would have thought that it must work in order to pass the mot. But there is loads of weird little things that don't have to be there etc. For exp, your car does not have to have a windscreen to pass it's test(but you must remove the wipers aswell)

Mmmm, yes. Good thinking. I bet I place too much trust on the road angel. I'm going to get a Tomtom and get rid of the road angel. this way i can stillget the odd warnings from speed cams, which i guess will get better as their database fills up, plus i can use it to find places too
