I think its works out circa £2 a litre or something like that I heard. I'd only run it for dynos, drag & track use, just as you say, expensive stuff. However, with the AEM can just swap the maps quickly between optimax and race fuel and away you go once alter the timing! Gaz.

Terry, Thats the stuff I thinking about starting to use. You rekon there could be about 10 degrees advance set for that kinda fuel? (with appropriate ignition, air, fuel setups ) Gaz.

Thanks for the reply Pete. All lights are fine. I think the car has loads of juice personally, but I suppose I could be wrong... Will check over the battery. I personally though it was the starter, so it may be sticky... Plugs are only 1k miles old... Regards, Gaz.

These last few days I've had some bother starting the car - sometimes its can take 7 or 8 turns of the keys, sometimes first time! Fuel pump primes, turn key and all the you hear is a big click. Its not temperature related as this morning after it has been standing for 8 hours outside it was fine & started first time. Any ideas? Regards, Gaz.

Alex, Just to throw a spanner in the works. I have never known a UK car to be limited - I know of 3 other UK supras that have sailed passed the limit. I myself to 172 leptons and others to over 180. Whats the crack with this then? Gaz.

Hi Paul, Very respectable figures there. I was talking to a rep from 76 at the Autosports show there and got some very interesting info on race fuel, price wasn't too bad neither - have you looked into this? Gaz.

Think Adam Kindness has done this... although not with the headlamp washers as it was a Jspec. But I am going to do this once I fit the FMIC, along with a water spray controller to control the water. Regards Gaz.

Yeah, I thought it would be quite well shielded. Could there be any magnetic inference - its literally got a huge voice coil on the sub and is well loud. Any other opinions? Cheers Gaz.

Just something that I was curious about before actually doing, never seen this asked before. What would be the effect of installing a car audio subwoofter (quite a large powerful one) above the fuel pump in the boot? The pumps would be twin in-tank walbro's. Anyone have any views on possible side-effects? Cheers, Gaz.

I think it takes 7 or 8 litres from memory. A lot. I've went about 6 months between filling up the bottle! And most of that is winter driving! Gaz.

Chris Wilson is an excellent motorsport engineer with loads of experience with the supra. He comes highly recommended by loads of people on here, use the search function. Hes based just outside Shropshire I believe. Hating to see a Supra owner in distress, I may be able to obtain an MOT for you. Let me know by PM or email if you need any help in this matter Gaz.
