Well, we firmly believe our spun bearing was due to this. I could also speculate on two other engines gone this way that I know of and also I know Leon had problems. It doesn't happen in the US often because they use CNC machines to do it which offer far more accuracy. Regards, Gaz.

I doubt it - you can't go from 4th to 2nd etc with disengaging the collar first so it would be a bit of a pain! Gaz.

Nope - a company makes them for Titan, the same company sells them to PHR and others. FYI unless you can get the block line bored by a CNC machine and not by traditional methods - I wouldn't bother. Tuesday tip for you Gaz.

It locks the first 4 gears into a sequence that cannot be screwed up basically. Its designed for drag racing only, its not really any use for anything else. So you select first, lock the collar into position. When you want to change to second you wack it straight back, push straight up to get third and straight back to get forth. Its a good bit of kit! Gaz.

The crank themselves are tough as old boots - its normally the bearings and caps that are the problems (for us anyway!) Gaz.
