  1. I used to get the Telegraph on Wednesdays, but that was only to get the weekly transfer password for the Fantasy football. Fortunately some nice people now put this on the internet so I no longer have to buy any papers. I too believe that there is no point in buying papers anymore as the internet has just about everything on it. Mark
  2. Well I have just got back from near Lands End during the early hours of this morning and I have to say that I have really missed this forum I tried to jump into an internet cafe whilst I was in Padstow one day just so I could have a quick look but all the machines were taken . Anyway im back now and I am just about to start cleaning cars, my Supra first (of course), then Vic's Rav4 in preparation for us trying to sell it (so she can get a Supra) and finally the family 328 Touring (which will be the family runaround when Vic has her Supra Anyway I had better get going, Does anyone else get like this when they are away? I really don't like being without the internet at all Nice to be back Hanky
  3. lol. no just standard shocks with HKS springs. I have been thining about this for a while but I finally decided that enough was enough when the bumper scraped whilst crawling around an Asda car park. The car is just too damn low. Mark
  4. Ordered my coilovers last night from Paul E (the G-Force ones that were in his clearout), so I should have them on within a week or so . I am really looking forward to being able to drive around without the fear of scraping my bumper. Especially since I will have a new one on soon, once it gets delivered to Bijal in 2-3 weeks time. Mark
  5. LMAO:) Your spending how much on Volk alloys? and I cant even get a new bumper..... Im sure we will be fine, I have already said that she can have my wheels when I buy new ones Mark
  6. I let her drive it occasionally, in fact just about whenever she wants too. But that isnt often as she is worried about hurting her, not because of her driving (Vic is quite a good driver), but more to do with the fact that the car is just too damn low and the bumper catches all the time, just badly cambered roads can do it Hay ho Mark
  7. Will you people quit it Im afraid a good TT is out of budget and would only make me want an NA-T conversion even more than I already do. Mark
  8. Thanks for the warning mate Vicki.... Step away from the TT. Do not look at these, A) they are out of budget and B) they are faster than my car (at present). Mark
  9. You can quit moaning at me now for always being on the forum Now I can donate some of my parts to you so that I can change my car slightly Volk TE37's here I come:d

    Honda advert

I saw this advert last night and agree that it is one of the best adverts. I still love the Honda one with the domino effect of the all the car parts, that too was great. I still have a soft spot for Honda's anyway, just wish they would use RWD more. Mark
  11. Lots of different stuff. Marilyn Manson, Prodigy (Jilted Generation album), Wu Tang, Gravediggaz, Gza, some dance music, The village people and Offspring. Just a sample of what I listen too. Prodigy and Marilyn Manson are the best to drive too though IMO. Mark
  12. Hey thats me, my sone and my wife in pic 1 . and the front of my Supra in pic 5. I only stayed until the dinner break but it was a very good morning out. Some great cars and loads of nice Supra's which put mine to shame. Didnt get to meet too many people as everyone was watching the racing. But I did meet a nice guy called SteveL who was handing out flyers for Whifbitz, and Lui (thanks for the pass). Mar
  13. Well I have decided that im taing mine off now. So I will put the good one that I have left up for sale when I take it off tomorrow. Mark
  14. mmmmm Nurse Jakki Went once before and there were only a few decent cars to look at. Quite a lot of stunning models though Most of the models though werent very well paid and as a result could barely afford any clothes, bless em Mark
  15. I would go for something like this as well to be honest. Just to get you started. The worse thing you can do is try and over stretch yourself on monthly payments by going for say a 25 year deal. I would also stay clear of investment only deals but thats just my opinion. Also like Alex says in a few years time when its remortgage time, if you are better off you can always knock a few years of your mortgage. Good luck whatever you do. Mark
  16. I had the 30th Anniversary EP3 Civic Type R a few years ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Brilliant car in my opinion. I never managed to get that great a MPG out of it though, on average I would only get around 290 miles out of a tank. Still not too bad though. DC2's are nice but the DC5 Integra is in my opinion one of the nicest looking cars around. Only problem with DC5's though is the insurance. I could not find a quote for less than £970. Just to put that into perspective, I currently pay £650 for the Supra. Thanks Mark
  17. Might be a good idea. Anyone know where to get these from and how much? I have just tried my local Toyota dealer and he said that he could not get any of these any more. Thanks Mark
  18. Mines the opposite, my passenger side one has broken. It would be nice to get a replacement, but if I cant then not to worry someone can have my drivers side one. Anyone know where you can get these from??? Mark

    NA-T Costs

Hi Gaz, Nice to meet you too. The car does feel slightly more responsive but that might just be me fooling myself . Yep im going on Sunday and will be meeting at Toddington. I know its further than actually going straight to Pod (im from Hinckley in Leicestershire) but it will be good to go in a little convoy. What day are you going? Mark

    NA-T Costs

I saw you drive off last night Gaz when I was picking up mine and I must say it sounds great. I also noticed JamieP's in there the other day and that looks great. I picked up mine last night after having the rear callipers refurbed, plus I got them to put a stock airbox in as I felt that the TRD one was getting too much warm air. I am very happy to be driving again and as everyone says, Greg, Sam and the Turbo Fit team are a pleasure to deal with. They are genuinely good people and I just hope that I can raise the money to have the NA-T conversion done next year. Mark
  21. Thanks for the inormation so far people. Yep, im sure that im using the right oil and the car has around 59000 miles on the clock. Since I topped up I probably only did 200 - 250 miles as I have kept the car off the road during that time. I will have to check the smoke bit but I cant say I have noticed any of the blue variety. Thanks again people, I will have to look into this further I think. Mark
  22. Hello Do Supra’s generally need the oil topping regularly or should this not be a problem. The reason I ask is because Greg at Turbo Fit has had to top mine up today whilst she’s in for a calliper rebuild. Now I only did this a month ago and I have barely driven her during that time as I didn’t really want to hear that awful scraping noise from the seized calliper. The thing is though that there are no oil spots anywhere, and the car has been sitting in the same spot for most of that time. Do you think that there is a problem or is this normal? Thanks Mark
  23. Happy birthday Greg. Also Tom (my son) thanks you for the little toy Skyline you gave him, its got lights and everything Hopefully see you tonight to pick up my car Mark

  25. Fortunately mine understands my need to modify now, and she loves the Supra. The only thing I do from time to time is tell her the cost minus 15%, just to make it sound a little better than it is Mark
