  1. Hi guys, Thanks for the info so far, now that I have had time to get some pics together, here they are. So its an M reg 94 Import, 5 Speed manual in Black but with very bad paintwork. It has a strong engine that still starts first time and the brakes have sat for so long that they need a bit of work. It also needs a new Battery. Also, the car is stock, apart from a stainless exhaust from the second cat back. The odometer reads in the region of 230000, but I am assuming this is KMs as it's an import? No official service history, but it has been serviced by me each year up until it was SORNed. It hasn't had any other parts on it, I've ran it standard apart from the exhaust. Rust, as you'll see in the pictures, is at the rear edge of the drivers door, and on the front left arch. It also has a little bit of missing paint/rust? on the front edge of the bonnet. I also forgot to previously mention that the sideskirts are standard, but one is a little damaged with a fibreglass repair, but its not a particularly good repair.
  2. ah great questions guys, It's a 94 NA, 5 speed manual box, which makes it 23 years old. I'll stick up some pics once I am home from work, but I really emphasise that the paint is in a very poor condition with a little surface rust etc as you would expect from a car that has sat outside for a while. Thanks for your help guys.
  3. Sorry if I have put this in the wrong part of the forum. I have had my supra for about 11 years and haven't used it for about 4. It has sat on my drive slowly deteriorating. This summer was due to be the year I got it all back on the road however recently I had a knock on the door from someone wanting to buy it. But I am not sure what a good price is. It's a 94 import NA. The engine starts first time (but it needs a new battery) and runs well with no leaks, the paintwork is completely ruined so it needs a respray and the brakes have sat for so long that they probably need replaced/a lot of work doing. Underneath it is in really good condition, with the only rust being on a heat shield for one of the cats. The interior is god for the age, with a little wear on the driver seat. Other than the above big issues, everything else is in good order. Would anyone be able to give me an idea of a reasonable price to expect for a car in this condition? So I can decide wether to take advantage of any offer my visitor may make?
  4. Saw you this morning parked in Southwood, Farnborough
  5. Spotted you driving past the end of my road in Cove today as I was woalking the dog. Looked nice and clean and sounded good too.
  6. Not exactly local mate, I am near Stonehenge. Close enough to pop down and have a dive though.
  7. Hey mate, that was me, but you know that already. Haha.
  8. I just followed this guide to do my starter and now my car starts first time every time. Thanks guys!
  9. Cool, thanks for that measurement, I assume you just put the locking bar in place and then used a big breaker bar and pulled as hard as you could to tighten it again? or did you have some kind of torque wrench? Thanks again Dale
  10. Hey guys, I was in the unfortunate position (whilst flirting with a blonde in a Merc) to lose the outer portion of my crank pulley. I was just wondering if anyone knew how far apart the bolt holes were on the pulley (I am not near my car, I have had to abandon it at a friends house due to work) so i can have a tool made up. Secondly, anyone got any good ideas as to how to torque the new bolt back up again once everything is back on? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dale
  11. Top notch mate, i'll have a look for that and see if he still has them.
  12. I need a Drivers side sideskirt preferably in black. Anyone got any hanging around that they want to sell, I will buy as a pair if necessary.
  13. Can anyone help with this? Just found out today how much the brakes are from toyota. Any recommendations on discs and Pads for front and back? Thanks Dale
  14. I saw this program too, and was thinking the exact same thing. Anyone with tech knowledge out there?
  15. Wondering if anyone would have an undamaged right hand side sideskirt (OEM) preferably in black. Also, anyone recommend a good set of brake pads (front and rear) and discs for the same, i have a 94 NA Jap Import. Thanks Dale
  16. Thanks Mate, i'll check these two out
  17. Anyone got any ideas about this? is there anywhere in the SE of england that anyone would recommend?
  18. Can anyone recommend a good place in or near Chatham in Kent to get my new clutch fitted when it arrives? Somewhere reliable that won't rip me off would be nice.
  19. I realised on reading your post that i have never actually heard my own car from outside. It just got a new exhaust, can't wait to hear it properly when the clutch gets sorted.
  20. It doesnt stand up to close scrutiny, needing a bit of a touchup in places, including the sideskirt replacing, I am in the middle of fibreglassing it at the moment.
  21. Andy, black UK today at Blackbushe. Didn't even realise you were behind me til i heard your dump valve. lol By the way, even N/As are normally faster than that, my clutch is proper fooked.
  22. Saw it sitting on Winn road in southampton when i was down visiting a mate.
  23. Well to be honest, life is intervening over the next while, so it will take a week or two at least before i have to time to get it fitted. Any chance you could get me a price for it and we'll get the ball rolling?
  24. Cool guys, thanks, I take it that the only place to get a stock one is from Mr T? They want 300 quid for a new one.
  25. Hey guys, I am in the process of searching for a new clutch. I have a 95 NA 5 speed and was wondering if anyone in the know could tell me if this clutch on ebay would be suitable? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-3-0-JZA80-3-PIECE-CLUTCH-KIT-1993-2001-NEW_W0QQitemZ320183826829QQihZ011QQcategoryZ10402QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247 any help greatly appreciated.
