  1. ooh, i got one of those baffles as well, i think i will go try that and see if it makes a difference
  2. thanks mate, i'll check that out and see if what i can find.
  3. I have an N/A and just put on a new stainless exhaust to get it through MOT. The System was straight through from the Second Cat back. I still have both my Cats in place Its got a lovely note off it when driving and idling, not too loud (in my opinion). The only thing is, under heavy acceleration there is another sound that rears its head alongside the nice roar, its an almost rural/diesel sounding sound and as soon as I ease off, this rural/diesel sound disappears until the next time I plant my right foot. Just wondering if anyone has heard of this and can tell me what it is? and more importantly am i damaging anything?
  4. Cool, this sounds like a plan then, thanks a load mate, i am off to order it, then prolly shear some exhaust bolts,
  5. I still have both my cats in, would i have to remove the rear one to make this fit?
  6. I started looking into a stock system today, problem is work keeps getting in the way, damn inconsiderate i say. I am waiting on prices on a stock exhaust, but i spotted this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-MK4-JZA80-TURBO-SS-CAT-BACK-EXHAUST-SYSTEM_W0QQitemZ230238976169QQihZ013QQcategoryZ38786QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem anyone got any idea if this would be any good?
  7. Thanks Mate, Sounds like a good way forward. Anyone have any recommendations as to the best place to buy a Cat back system in the Surrey/Berkshire area? Also, can anyone tell me if it is normal for Supra rear tyres to wear on the inside edges first? or do i need this checked out too?
  8. Hey guys, need some advice after failing MOT for the first time with the Sup. It seems that everything from the second cat back is shot, so i need a new backbox and middle section. Any recommendations for a an N/A for the back box? But more importantly, what on earth can i do about the middle section? will i just have to find a scrappy with one going spare? or is there something else i can do? Are there any companies who manufacture something better for this section?
  9. Red, yesterday, waiting to board the Channel Tunnel in Calais, I think i may even have spotted you wearing a Supra Hoody in the terminal.
  10. Saw you leaving the Dickens centre in Chatham about 12:45 today (Saturday) Wheels looked really good.
  11. A long way is right, especially as all the other guys can pop home for the weekends, leaves me sitting here doing jack.
  12. This was me on my way back to my new home in Chatham while I am on course. Only spotted you at the last minute as i was concerned about the strange little micra that insisted on tailgating me even though i was trying to let him pass.
  13. This was probably me, Just finished in Sandhurst the day before and finally driving home. This was approximately 3 hours before i turned too tight in a tesco carpark in cardiff and destroyed my driver side sideskirt. Dale
  14. Silver, parked in the pick up bay at the Camberley Tesco at around 7 30 tonight. Just curious as to what your front bumper is??

  16. I think i have spotted you about, and if i see you, you will have to make do with the headlights in my case.
  17. The black one is likely to be me, always around that way as i don't live too far from there.
  18. Hey mate, that was me, Really like the wheels. About Parts, i find that for the stuff you can only get from Mr T, the guy in Toyota opposite Autozone, just off that roundabout you saw me at, is very patient and helpful. For the more generic stuff, little parts etc, there is NB autoparts in the waterside part of Coleraine. As regards bodywork, the only guy to recommend is Alwyn Stewart, between Kilrea and Garvagh, I have used him for a few little repairs on different cars and the work is probably among the best in the UK, just don't expect it to be a bargain.
  19. Before i bought the car, someone had broken one of the brackets for the little sensors on the A panel, So last night i finally got around to replacing them, this meant that the sensors are now not pointing to the same point in the they were when they were just hanging loose on the wire. Problem is this morning the alarm goes off every time a relatively heavy vehicle rumbles down the street. And so to my question, does an alarm (this one is an Autowatch) have some kind of memory, where it is important at which part of the car it is looking at? and if so, can i just Disconnect the battery and reconnect so it starts to "Like" the part of the car it sees now?
  20. Anyone any idea where its possible to buy blank ElectroLuminescent paper? I have checked ebay and googled til my eyes exploded, but haven't found anything.
  21. Just figured this out, got all brave with a screwdriver, a soldering iron and a new 15a fuse (to replace the one that inevitably got blown) Just thought i would post what i did, to hopefully add something new to the site. What i needed was a Double pole "DPDT" toggle switch. When I opened up the Dash and looked at the Multiplug, i was presented with 4 wires: From left to right, Red/blue - Orange - White/black - Grey I then wired the 6 points of the DPDT switch like this. Red/Blue to Terminal 2 Orange to Terminals 1 and 6 White/Black to Terminal 5 Grey to Terminals 3 and 4 I am now able to mount the switch alongside a bank of nice shiny other switches in the centre of the Dash and fill in the hole on the right hand side (or find something to replace it)
  22. i am just relocating some stuff around the dash, and want to be sure i have the right switch before i start unscrewing and cutting etc. Not that there is any point in the switch at the moment, the drivers side mirror motor is completely dead
  23. Hey guys, just a quick question about the electric mirror switch. Does anyone know what type of switch it is? what i mean is, could it be replaced with an on/off switch or an on/on for example, or is there some other electronic hocus pocus in the switch that i am not smart enough to understand?
  24. I found the little things they gave you were not heavy enough, took me ages to get the right weight. Haven't broken a tail rotor yet, so i guess that will probably be the only time you'll have a problem. (Unless you are unlucky)
