    crap nav

do you ever get pissed off with your sat nav getting lost? my navman 630 (cost £700) 2 years ago. yesterday it got confused and sent me miles out lost my rag and threw it out the window then stopped and kicked it to bits feel pretty stupid now as it was quite usefull at finding roads in town have no pathience with tech stuff"!
  2. drove 200 miles today to veiw an aristo tt. (some of you may know i am looking for one) the thing did not grab me the wheels were nasty 17s the colour dark grey it drove perfectly lovely standard quite engine interior was good but not perfect 1991 on a private plate for £3200 im sure this would be a sound car cambelt and oil seals just done but it just didnt do it for me i think it was the grey(looked darker in pic) that put me off looked like a big granada its on autotrader under toyota aristo nearly put me off looking but i have another to see this week hopefully will n
  3. am looking at an aristo tommorow. the owner is an enthusiast like our selves and was very upfront about the car he has told me that there is a small wisp of blue smoke on cold start up which disapears straight away.he has been told by garage nothing to worry atall that it is valve stem seals and that it would go for miles and miles without a look. i am aware of this issue with tt cars should i be worried ? how much is the job if it is needed at a later date? as the owner pointed out he could easily have hid the prob by starting before i arrived for a few seconds.
  4. are they the bronze jobs? with polished rim
  5. am still on the look for 18 wheels budget about 1000 inc tyres to clear uk brakes.my consider 19s . anybody running those ebay dare hiro wheels? are they any good?
  6. beautifull mate, its an experience that cant be beat ever. ours is 15 weeks now and it still feels like christmas every day enjoy!!!!
  7. yep ,keep them, i am not a fan of red supras but i like the look of that more than my black one
  8. fuel economy is fine for supercar performance especially as my supra has been so reliable and has needed no repairs at all (only consumables). this fact offsets mpg considerably compared to less reliable cars needing expensive repairs. think i may get shot down by some of you guys that have had such repairs but that is my experience by the way for comparision my merc e55 amg did 25.7 on a 1200 mile tour of scotland worked it presicely from door to door. great consumption for a 5.4 litre super saloon cruising at 80-100 all day about the same as the supra i guess
  9. how about my avensis 2000(w plate)2.0 gls estate full history all mots bills 98k miles blue utterly unbreakable for £1800 ideal unless you want a bit more style hence why im selling to get an aristo
  10. looking at that black one db reckon it could be fair price pretty sure id like the mk1 now thanks for all the advice
  11. seriosley go to aldi and buy there traveller camera 7.2mg pix £115 like a lot of the stuff they sell it really is a quality item i have one its great

  14. i have narrowed the choise of family car down to one ARISTO! There seem to be 3 about in my price range -£5k 2 on ebay and one on piston heads do you guys think i should go for the white facelift vvti with 130k miles on a 99 plate or one of the mk 1s with less than 70k miles on 95 plate in slightly better condition and better colour grey or black + bit cheaper not that keen on the rear door windows on the facelift but suppose its an updated car with paddle shift etc non have been modded and i will keep them all standard apart from wheels/bilsteins dont want a loud mad saloon for family use opinions?

    Motorbikes

a 600 is a good first step .you have to try hard to go fast.you could get in trouble with a big bore blaster they gather speed at a mental pace and could get you in trouble. i know someone with a as new 700 mile only!! yamaha r6 on an 03 for £3500 cost him 6800 and basically brand new in every way
  16. well i thought he was wasting his own time if he didnt realize. anybody looking to buy would check themselves and as im looking for 18 wheels at right price)check my recent post) im hoping he may think of a much better price. sorry if you thought i was being obnoxious
  17. dont take offence but i dont think you will get much interest as new with new avon zz3s is only £1030 if you need new tyres you are up to 900+ for yours
  18. good luck all the best. sprogs next then supra gone:(
