  1. Just wondered if anyone on here was part of a gun club of any sort ??? I've googled Essex Gun Clubs and found a few but wouldn't mind a bit of help if people know of anything that might help. I like the look of the US gun ranges that you can go to but Im sure we don't have anything like that over here lol. I'm interested in hand guns and rifles but not clay pigeon. I trained on the SA80 in 4 Para so some with longer ranges would be good. Cheers
  2. Who gives a stuff if they are offended or not. If something warrants sniffer dogs then so be it. England - Love it or leave it. Simple
  3. U mean the smaller one ? Main one seems fine although I need to take that off anyway for what Im doing but that little bugger is gonna get a beating if I don't get my way with it soon lol
  4. How the feck do you get the fan shroud around the small fan to lift it out. Looks like the space between the small fan and the radiator is way too small - have I missed something ?

  6. Well I did say straight underneath lol. I'll sort it and update the post. I'll get my dyno graph up to. Really just a thank you for Michel at this stage as I already had these pix on the poot
  7. Better shots and some engine bay shots will go up shortly btw
  8. I had to come on here and write up about the Beast's return and the magnificent job done on her by Michel Lane and his team. My car has come back as revamped supercar slaying machine and although there had been much blood sweat tears and cash I'd say it has been worth the wait and I am so pleased with what Michel has done. My car to Michel has been what I'd say pork is to a Jew. The poor sod has endured months of "OH MY F'ING GOD WHAT NOW" ever since I dropped her off at the end of October last year. Problem after problem arose on this cursed machine but they were all beaten in the end, he must have the patience of a Saint I swear lol. A messed up L plate J-spec TT arrived running one and a bit turbos at best and to my knowledge no other problems - this was his first mistake. As the single conversion work continued he found that my car was basically bollocks and he was going to have to rebuild it from the wheels....no the floor up. Even the wheels needed changing to fit over the UK's. To cut a long story short..er, every time they thought they were winning, something else broke or came to the attention of my bank manager and was replaced. As it stands the only things that haven't now been replaced or upgraded are the seats as even the dash got a nice new coat of black slap. New bushes, anti-roll bar, 19's, suspension, exaust system, UK brakes n upgraded pads, bumper, spoiler..u name it, it was done at just a tad of Michel's sanity. The job was a gooden come rolling road day only to then find the big end bearings were shot so they had to be done. The only drawback of all of this was the time it took and I had to keep itching and waiting to get my hands on the keys but hey, what can you do when you're trying to polish a turd. Finally when all was thought to be done she made a lovely 527bhp with 490lbs of torque and she sat there waiting for me to come back from holiday to collect her. THEN....the damn oil pump died thus taking my new turbo bearings with it and causing yet more arse ache for the team and my bank. After the turbo was replaced along with the pump and necesary gubbings Michel found the oil still wasn't getting through the engine - verdict: bolloxed engine !! To my amazement Michel then offered me his engine and to absorb the cost as a replacement to get my car back to me and finish the project. This is the kindest act of generosity I've ever experienced and I will be eternally grateful because I would never have been able to afford all of this on my own. He must be sick as a dog because Ryan and Ian Wally at Motor Scope then managed to squeeze 576bhp with 500lbs of torque of it at just 1.3 bar with his own project engine. As it stands the new single and respray has turned a once tired TT into a absolute monster that just so happens to look gorgeous as well so a MAHOUSIVE THANKYOU to Michel, his team, Ryan and Ian the Rocket Scientist for all their effort in getting such a great job done and not petrol bombing the bloody thing as I would have wanted to do. Michel is a very nice and helpful guy and I thoroughly recommend him for his know how and attention to detail. I am yet another very satisfied customer lol. Now, I have taken a few quick pictures but Im not overly happy with them as they don't do it justice but come the next sunny day in England she will be bathed and pampered then taken somewhere pretty for her mug shot to be taken and I will re-post some more up then. Thanks Michel Mark.

    slash

Awesome. Slash is in my top few deffinitely. I don't like much rock pre 80's with the exception of Aerosmith but I know Hendrix is a legend regardless. I also love Richie Sambora, John Frusciante and Nuno
  15. Fcuk sake, who's next ? Heath Ledger then Beadle - so sad. Or maybe Sterve Urwin was the first. Loved them all RIP
  16. thanks everyone, I shall get on to all these and see what we come up with.
  17. Hello all the mrs has been lucky enough to get a nice fat bonus from her poshe office job so she's taking me to the Caribbean ner ner. Anyway, who has been where and could give us a few ideas on where to go with a 5 year old !! Really haven't got a clue where to start, but I can say we don't want some exclusive island that Brad Pitt would go to and has bugger all on it or in the way of population. We would like a bit of life and a chunk of paradise to enjoy this once as we'll probably not be able to afford this kind of holiday again for a LOOOOONG time. We've been looking at Dom Rep and Barbados but havent got our hearts set on anything in particular. Also where would be a good place to go to book this kind of break i.e travel agents, websites etc ? cheers Mark n Annie
  18. 100th dibbs please pal lol. I'd be interested in this if it has the lip to catch the wind ? If it's a smooth replica I'll keep on hunting. Ta muchly
  19. Wow, just got in from seeing Alterbridge at The Astoria and they were fantastic. They rocked there arses off for 90 minutes and had us in the palm of there hands. Although the show was quite short it was still longer than Evanescence's hour jobbie so can't complain. They are touring there awesome Blackbird album and the title track was especially good. If you liked the first album I reccomend this, in fact if you like rock music grab this. I wanted to hear Shed My Skin but the buggers dropped it since I saw them last but they will be back in November so hopefully next time. Did anyone else go tonight ? What dya think ?
  20. Stone Sour - Through Glass. Gorgeous song.
  21. Lol sounds great. COD 4 for real. I trained with 4 Para for a training Cadre and the rest of the guys are on pre-deployment training now to go join 2 Para out there. There are more going in April to join 3 Para - I salute the lot of them. Utrinique Paratus Terry Tosser Taliban
  22. I love Ross Kemp On Gangs and this documentary is going to be award winning for him as was the other, I'm sure of it. Episode 1's just been on and my hat goes off to him and the soldiers he's following. I've just seen the interview on skyone.co.uk/rosskemp and looks pretty emotional viewing as they take casualties and such. Makes me proud to see our boys do there job in spite of everything including a useless government and ungrateful public. I support The Sun's Help For Heroes campaigne and whether you agree with the war or not, we should support our boys n girls who are putting their lives on the line to do their job and ultimately protect us. Well done Mr Kemp
  23. You are a legend in my eyes fella. I saw that Sean Bean and Danny Dyer film 'Outlaw'. Just what this country needs nowadays. I know technically you're wrong but sod it, noone plays by the rules anymore and gets away with it so why should we. Hip hip hoorah
  24. Aww bugger it, I was really looking forward to this. I thought the first one was great. I don't read too much into films, I just see them as the basic entertainment they're meant to be and the first one was fantastic imo. I agree with the James Cameron comment though. He's the man. I did think Alien was crap because fcuk all happens for 95% of it and Terminator was good for it's time but for me it's T2 all the way. His big budget jobbies like Titanic were amazing also. The thing that annoys me though is when a successful film title is used to make a new film with a totally diferent cast and more importantly in some cases, the director. For example T3. Kool film BUT not exactly T2. No James Cameron, a rushed job and a w@nky certificate meaning less Terminatorisms. Also Tokyo Drift - WTF. Good film in it's own right but why use the title - The first is the greatest to me easily. Second was ok but then with TD it's all change so why not just call it Tokyo Drift and make the film as it is and stand it on it's own legs. Car fans will see it regardless !!!
