Overtaking a funeral procession on the A2 the other day - slowly - with the baffle still out on my RS-R! Everyone was looking and glaring and I felt a bit of a tool:( Still, one past, I planted it and started to smile again:)

Gaz, I used to live in Folkestone - did a lot of playing up at Hawkinge/Reinden Woods :) Unfortunately Hawkinge now has houses all over it and the woods have too amny people walking dogs/riding horses etc

As a comparative newbie (been here for about 8 months now) I don't see what the fuss is personally. I've yet to see any truly offensive comments (seen a few unnecessary ones mind you). I know the mods need to try and keep some sort of order but surely people won't be busted for posting "repost"? It's a forum tradition isn't it? (not just here but on ALL forums) - a litle like when someone starts to tell a joke and you interrupt them with "Heard it!":) As to the general level of posters - unfortunately I think that the 'decline' is only to be expected - these cars aren't quite as exclusive as they used to be:( (that's how I managed to afford one at last) but isn't it up to the older, wiser (?) members to guide the newbies and teach them the ways of the forum? There have been some very interesting (and sometimes a little heated) discussions on here and I sincerely look forward to reading plenty more (as well as the tec. info and bargains to be picked up) :) With much respect, peace out:) ChrisSZ

Do you mean HIDs or the 'Xenon' bulbs?? I have both - HIDs in the fogs/dips and 'Xenon' bulbs in the main beams There's a group buy running at the moment - have a quick search for 'HID'

I usually get around 23mpg from my N/A. IU dunno what that works out per £10 but a full tank is usually good for 250-300 miles. Quite frankly though, if mpg is a concern I'd strongly suggest getting something a little tamer! It's very much a case of if you have to ask then you can't afford it :)

Had a Mk1 MR2 then a st185 GT4 before the Supe. Prior to that things were a little embarassing (Granada, Marina, Spitfire etc. etc. etc.) + a fair few bikes:)

I used to love the Airfix kits too - propper pocket money stuff:) They started to go downhill when they were't allowed to show Brit planes etc. beating up the Germans?? I mean, what the feck is a Spitfire for if not to knock down nasty Messers? Another bit of the past dissapearing and nothing comparable to replace it:(
