  1. Don't Halfords sell them at all? Glad you got Lucifer's bolt off finally :d
  2. :rlol: coffee on keyboard :d
  3. If I stand on my bathroom scales with my feet spread out I weigh less than if I stand on one foot :)
  4. Read that last year over on the GT4OC - bloody funny :)
  5. I'd have cut the bugger off!! If it's on my drive it's on my property and they must have trespassed to put it on!!

    pikeys...

so the pikey in my pic must be a motorpike and he seems to have lost his side carp :)
  7. I seem to remember reading that it is legal to have it installed but illegal to actually use it on the public highway. (I cold be wrong tough???)

    pikeys...

We got pikes-in-disguise round our way. There you are, keeping an eye out for transit vans and chelsea tractors with no tax towing caravans when the advance guard/scouts turn up in secret - photo evidence supplied
  9. Good luck dude - for some reason the bolt head has a slight taper to it so it's a real bitch to keep a socket square on whilst straining away at a breaker bar!!
  10. Judging by your avatar you'll be used to that then Ewen:d
  11. I ended up welding a socket onto mine and getting it out (using the tool) whilst it was still hot as hell - discovered about 1 inch of the thread was covered in threadlock:(
  12. :rlol: Coffee on keyboard time Andrew
  13. Lots of pints of Bombardier and London pride tonight :) Hope everyone has a good one
  14. Apparently, in the Paras, the definition of a true best mate is a guy who goes out on the town, gets two blow-jobs, comes back and gives you one of them!!
  15. LOL:) I ended up with one that was literally torn to pieces once!! I had to get it off with a hammer and an old screwdriver after I'd tried just about everything including ripping most of the filter itself off the base first!!
  16. Hi, wife of chrisSZ here. otherwise known as ballast, (who let a women on eh?). Been selling diamonds for about 9 years now so hope i can help. work in swag bluewater but on maternity at mo (so not on commission and will tell you the truth!). If you're looking for anything bigger than quarter carat, quality is definately important. Swag don't sell much lower than H SI even with no cert. certs are always worth looking at. And always ask to see the stone under a 10x magnification. Anything above SI you're unlikely to be able to see inclusions. Cut is vague on certs as proportions are a complicated area. Ask too see a perfect cut 'hearts on fire' (a brand) as a comparison if you're looking at round stones. Once you've seen and understood stones with a cert it's easier to know what you're looking at with non certs. personally for something really special i'd go for G VS but it depends what you're after. Graeme's a good guy. Deputy manager. Give him a shout. SWAG 01322 427829.
  17. That one would definitely be my choice - very cheap to get into, fairly regulated mods wise (helps to keep the cost down) and certainly looks like a good, fun season
  18. Scobiblio, Pop into Swag at Bluewater - they do some quality stuff (wife works there on the diamond side of things). As previously stated, as the stones get bigger, the quality does indeed become more important as the inclusions etc. become more visible. It also depends on the cut of the stone and it's setting.
  19. 'twas a good day indeed:) Sorry I too had to bugger off early guys but a BBQ at the in-laws called and they ALWAYS have a few cold ones in the fridge for me:) Trig, you gonna use your impressive ebaying skills to find some bits? Hope you get it sorted soon - when you get the parts give us a shout - more than happy to play again. As already said, it was nice to meet some new faces and old ones too (shame the airborne turned up late as usual:() Cheers all :)

    New toy...

They used to do head work on the 4age - cams and valves + a little porting to allow it to rev to around 9krpm and a suitable hike in power - can't seem to find the info on their website now though:( There's always the option of a fully built lump though
