  1. Bearing in mind the system was designed for the Jap climate where they regularly see bloody cold winters (not like ours) - over here I see no problem with this mod - unless the temp really drops, in which case would you be driving the Supe anyway?

Go for a CS/RC charge cooler from a 185 or 205 instead - much less room taken up.
  3. It also becomes easier if you (a) use an old wheel nut when banging the stud out and (b) for when you tighten the new stud into place - I used some old washers I had to save me having to wind the nut all the way in. :) Also, brace the hub with a block of wood from behind (propped against the chassis leg or something) to absorb some of the shock of the hammering and protect your wheel bearings :)
  4. Any ideas anyone? Just bought the car - it had a slight miss-fire under load which clears once the revs pick up. I figured that since the car hadn't been driven since June it would clear itself on the way home. Unfortunately it hasn't yet (100 miles home) and call me stupid but I'm buggered if I can see where the hell the spark plugs are on the bloody thing:Pling: If anyone has a pic of how to locate/inspect the plugs and any ideas what else to check I'd be most grateful. Cheers, Chris :d
  5. Let's have some nice, hi-res pics then mate
  6. So did you bluetooth them onto another phone to look at again later? If not then there's absolutely nothing to be guilty about LOL :)
  7. Blimey!! Is that my old baby? (N***FKE) ???
  8. ...............and before anyone else PM's me afer parts please note - the car went back in November - all I'm doing now is clearing out the last few bits and pieces. Everything's sold apart from the dizzy cap/rotor arm and possibly the wheels/tyres/spacers. Cheers all :)
  9. When's that then? And, yes, I'll be going :)
  10. Yes, I used the spacers with those wheels - put them right on the edge of the arches and looked grrreat:) No vibes, knocks or whatever (even at 140+ leptons:d )
  11. Couple of beers and it's yours mate :)
  12. Dizzy cap or TRD style oil cap?
  13. Still got these knocking around if anyone's interested - and a TRD style oil filler cap :d
  14. LOL. I (or rather, we - a group of mates) had TR4, 5 & 7 years ago - great little motors:)
  15. Cheers Col, how do you wrap wheels and tyres? And then weigh them??
  16. I'd be more than happy to- if I had a clue how one goes about posting wheels anywhere:( If you can arrange shipping your end then that's cool mate:) PM received and replied to
  17. These ( http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=101532 ) any use to anyone:)
  18. This ( http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=101443 ) isn't you is it Tom?? :)
  19. Like these http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=101531 :)
  20. some close-ups of the tread
  21. My RX8 rims (18" X 8.5j) with tyres (2 X Falken 451s 245/40/18 - loads of tread and 2 X Falken 452s 245/40/18 almost new). With Toyota centre caps. These rims really suite the Supra but you will need spacers to clear UK brakes ( http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=101531 ). Come with nylon spigot rings. Looking for £350 - pick up only but may be able to meet part-way:d
  22. These are top quality wheel spacers - not cheap universal ones. one set of 15mm (30mm in total) and one set of 20mm (40mm in total). You will need to get a set of longer studs to use these spacers with - available for not very many pennies from http://www.srbpower.com/hr/spacers.php who are very helpful Looking for £30 per set + P&P
  23. Cheers for the info mate - I had heard that there might be problems with the auto box but the manual seems to be ok.! I'd be perfectly happy with a manual but, due to budget constraints, I'm looking at '99/2000 models Can't seem to find any forums - lots of classic car clubs and such but there doesn't seem to be a JOC forum??
