Did you find any cost from Tubo Fit? Selling the N/A and getting a TT is an option, but after all the hassle of selling, trying to get a good price, paying the extra, and then sorting out all the little bits on the new car that need fixing.....which has taken me 5 months on my car and I still need to get an aircon re-gas! It will prob work out the same as pulling my lump out and droping a TT in. I will say that it there was nothing really wrong with my car when I bought it. Just the odd dash light not working, speedo and odo conversion, stereo changing, dash painting, boot rubbers, gps fitting, dvd fitting, creaking bush replacement etc.....just things to make the car my own, and the odd wear and tear fix.

I know this was a really old thread.....but now I have found it I want to know what the outcome was!! Was it a facelift? the photos mixed up?

I am not looking to do this right now as I have only had my car for about 4 months, but does anyone know the costs involved? Anyone on here done it? Mine is a manual and I want to keep it that way. So its a 5 speed N/A to TT conversion I am looking at doing.

I have the legay crossover as pictured below up for grabs. Its never been fitted. I bought it for my last car and then never bought any amps. It is not boxed but I am pretty sure I could find the box in the loft if needed! The corner is slightly damaged as pictured, happend while it sat in my drawer, must have has something rub against it. The unit is dash mounted and is 1/2 DIN size so if you have half a DIN with nothing to fill it....try this It cost me £99, I am open to offers... By the way, I am not expecting £99, I am sure they are cheaper than that now so don't be afraind to make an offer..

Anyone replacing the toyota badge on the back? I have a gold badge on at the moment but am not into the bling. I want to get an original badge back on there. If anyone wants to swap pm me. Or if anyone has changed the badge I will buy the old one off you!

would you sell the active spoiler seperatly? does it come with the ecu and buttons?

When I bought my car this was in the dash. I took it straight out so I have no idea if it was working before. I didn't have a working radio expander and the aerial on my car didn't go up when I bought it so couldn't check the radio and didn't take any tapes or cds to pick the car up. It did power on and all the buttons seemed to work though. For this reason I have no idea what to charge so any offers! I will eave this up for a couple of days so highest offer wins!

Something new to add... I would have bought one of these if they were out when I got mine: http://www.mp3playerstore.com/stuff_you_need/dvd/DVD-393.htm I have had a few bad reviews of the brand but I think they are great. Very good sound quality, and cheap pricing, they even have a selection of different models that I would think have the same back end and a different face as they all have the same spec. They look like rip offs of different makes. There is one just the same as my old panasonic fx45 stereo.

I have fitted mine now. Looks great and sounds! I will post pics at the weekend.

Thats what I think, I don't see that they would change the whole system one year after the cars release. Anyone know of a good place to get a regas areound finsbury park? or any where in london? What can I look at that will let me know what gas I have in?

I have just found a guy to regas my air con. He hasn't seen my car yet but reckons it will be £90 as it is it used the old R12 gas and not the new R134a, he charges £60 for the R134a regas. Is this right? He says he can tell from the age. My car is a '93 which I understand was the year cars started using R134a, however I thought all MKIVs had R134a?

You mentioned you got your matt lacquer from a spray shop....any ideas of a shop that might have it? Good ol'Halfrauds maybe?

matt varnish.....see I don't know if I trust a clear spray to give a matt finish. It seems to me (in my head any way) that if you spray lacquer or varnish on top of paint it goes shiny. Am I wrong? I would love to see pics of yours when its done by the way.

Has anyone used matt black paint? I want to try and get the same effect as standard....minus the scratches where the rubber has gone. Dave....Matt lacquer? does that give a real matt finish? I wasn't going to use any lacquer as I thought it would end up shiny, and I don't want my car to look like it should be in max power!
