did this myself at the weekend. stripped the whole dash and got the little sucker out. replaced it and i now have heat!! took around 8 hours...

Well.. Last weekend I finally got round to the dreaded task of changing my heater matrix in the hope that I would have to stop wearing gloves and a hat to keep me warm Started on Saturday afternoon taking the dash to bits and trying to see where the million screws and bolts were, and what they held in! I've never seen so many wires in a car! Left the car at a stage so I could remove the heater matrix Sunday morning. I was surprised how easy it was, yeah I know its time consuming but as long as you take your time and remember where bits go its not too bad!! So I now have heat in the car which is great :D Will post pics up later.... A now happy supra owner, Steve

oh good! in that case can i just check its the matrix that’s gone... symptoms: coolant fluid under the passenger seat, strange smell coming from the fans. and last night i went turned up the heater only to find the car full of smoke after a few seconds...

second or new? and how much please... these things hard to fit??

looking for a heater matrix. for an manual N/A. not sure if they are the same for auto or TT's? could anyone help or please advise at to what to do... also where can i find it? is it hidden in the dash somewhere? thanks people... Steve
