it does but yours dips off @ 6.4 - 6.5k and mine dips off @ 5.5k... surley thats not right? what are you running to get 282 horses?? that cant be an N/A and surley the T61 would give you more than that??

I use mine every day. only live 5 miles from work... go to lincoln every tuesday in it ( uni ) and dont see any of the Lincoln Soops. i must be blind

Guys/Girls. Please help me. I have an NA manual and im sure there is something wrong with it but i have taken it to two jap performance garages in chesterfield and they both think that nothing is wrong with it... So what do I need?? I am appealing to anyone who has a N/A manual soop who will take me for a spin to see if the power delivery is the same as mine... my fault with the car can be seen in this thread. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=62910 Please help me people as im really fed up with it, i just want my car to be better... not really mate. got a few things to check, just time consuming and expensive! how much were your HT leads and where did you get them from? hope the turbo goes well fella! would love a spin in the soop once its finished! good luck Gaz

so do i not need an air flow sensor?? saw this and thought i should have 1? am i wrong... http://www.mkivstore.com/provisioning/eshop/index.php?target=products&product_id=1619 it does say its for an NA.

no idea mate. im only just learning about the car! just think who ever took the standard box off and replaced it with the HKS induction kit just took it off... could do with a pic of someones engine bay to see where they put the sensor.

sorry to confuse you. i have a (please dont laugh) hks induction kit fitted, not the stock air box. fitted the sensor as i didnt have one on the car when i bought it...

Thanks Nic, cleaned them the other day and didnt really do anything. could the fuel/air mixture be wrong. i recently fitted an air flow temperature sensor to the air box as i have an aftermarket induction kit fitted and when i bought the car it didnt have one on. could that be anything to do with my problem?? cheers steve.

not changed them yet, u think it will help? i had it on the rolling road the other week and it looked like it was getting too much fuel in... you know the air flow temperature sensor,what does that look like and could this be the problem?? cheers steve

i thought uprated injectors only really helpped on the turbo supras? or are you getting them on in line with getting ur turbo? you think i new fuel pump will help? that is something i haddnt thought of. my car only really dies when ur at high revs, you think the car could be starved of fuel?? Steve oh Gaz, did you manage to get your soop started today??

fingers crossed mate!! thanks for the offer will see what the garage says. just no idea what it could be other then a timing fault, ht leads or injector problems... you reckon it could be any of them?? cheers steve

not really mate. reset the ecu earlier today. still doesnt feel right. could do with comparing the car with another na to see if it really is down on power or not. you reckon before you go into turbo fit we could meet up? or anyone live near chesterfield who has an NA manual that could take me out 4 a spin and see if its just me or my car is actually down on power?? just doesnt feel right mate... and its starting to p**s me right off...

i think its got to be somthing to do with the fueling. none of the sesnors are faulty and the car runs fine until you start to thrash it... if feels like something is stopping the fuel getting in. will hopefully wait and see if anyone comes up with any ideas on how to fix that area!! cheers for the suggestions!
