Really?
Still a group 19 though. so £1300 you'd say was bad,
for a £25 yr old i would have said that was about right,
But insurance is a funny old thing and never makes sense
I paid £150.00 less to insure my NA when i changed from an FTO which was odd, but there again insurance companies class the FTO as group 20
My quotes were weird anyway
£150 less than the FTO for a N/A
£10 more to insure a TT
Currently pay £297.00 fully comp protected for my NA with a Cat 2 Immobiliser fitted
Although some insurance companies class the NA as a grp 20 as well,
Always pays to shop around,
Many want trackers and all sorts of rubbish
Basically a Cat2 immobiliser is what most want so the car is simply dead,
Alarms aren't always the best as usualy the damage is done by then anyway, and most people don't take notice of alarm sirens anyway,
I've found over the years of Import and Sports car ownership that most companies just insist of a Thatham approved immobiliser .
