  1. Hey thanks for trying to help! Martin your spot on! The one I have is the new one from Apex you can view the product http://www.takakaira.com/php/template.php3?id=309&cat=2 Its quite a nice piece to have somewhere on your dash. Looks space age. Does quite a few speed/time functions including removing the speed cut on our Jap spec. The wiring is scary! I am not even going to try to do this without English manual as it involves a lot of conections at the ECU. Please try and find something if you can cause I have posted in other forums but no one seems to have this. Martin thanks for the help on the Greddy 60mm boost gauge/peak hold warning.   2. Guys, I need the English install instructions for the Apex RSM-GP. If anyone has it please let me know where I can find this? I received instruction manual in Japanese and its quite hard to install.

  4. I need the instructions booklet for the Greddy 60mm Boost gauge with peak hold warning. If you have this I would really appreciate it if you could post this via e-mail to [email protected] or on the board.
  5. Yeah! It is the similar to the RPS stage-2 clutch. I just need to know if it will last with with launches at 3-4k RPM and handle about 500bhp? I don't want to replace another clutch anytime soon.:biggrin:

I got my clutch checked by my mechanic and yes~ It's gone and needs to be replaced as it is releasing the power slow from start and the Revs are climbing before the power comes on. :sad: Please give me some advice thinking of buying the TRD single disc or the RPS stage-2? Do you have any recommendations? Thanks

  10. Just thinking about the water injection. Isnt the water going to boil in the engine bay with the engine and turbo spewing out so much heat. Is it beneficial using it even if the water gets hot?
  11. Thank you very much! I think I will upgrade my intercooler first. I feel kinda bad for my engine with the summer heat here!:sad: Also I am planning to use a vented hood hopefully this will help too.:biggrin:
  12. I was wondering is there any performance gain using water injection? I live in a hot country is it good to use water injection? Average temp here - 28 degrees celsius. Will a bigger intercooler be a better upgrade than the water injection say the HKS-Type -S?
  13. Alex, What clutch fluid do I need to use? Brand / Grade?
  14. No I have't checked the clutch fluid! Will check! But why is my clutch releasing right at the end of the pedel position? Can this be adjusted? Is this the same with your cars?
  15. Hey guys I feel my clutch is kinda not releasing properly- It releases only at the end which means I have to take my foot off the clutch completely. I don't know wheather this is Ok? Cause it was releasing a lot lower when I got my car. Is there some way to adjust the clutch to release lower than releasing right at the end? I hope you understand what I mean!     Phill, Man you need to get rid of the pre-cat~ This is where the performance is!!:biggrin: I replaced the main cat at first with the HKS midpipe but the performance gain was not that much, but when I replaced my precat it made a huge difference. The turbo spools really fast at much lower RMP and it builds boost quickly. Made me smile a lot!! Trust me!:biggrin:

  18. If you don't mind! How much did you pay for the Blitz ECU? and can you get it specific to what you are running on your car eg.. 550cc with fpr/high performance fuel pump. So you dont have to run a fuel computer. Can this be reprogramed again later if you upgrade to 720cc injectors? Lastly is it worth upgrading your ECU?
  19. Thanks badtoy! I have't yet e-mailed him. What sort of fuel upgrade is he recomending with a stage3 upgrade? Will this require larger than 550's and we need a upgraded fuel pump. right! Anything else?
  20. Mark, Very impressive list of upgrades!! How are the 6piston AP holding? With the Blitz ECU you dont need to do a fuel air computer right! Also you are using the water injection even though you have a FMIC. Is this necessary? What sort of response is there from your hybrid turbos~compared to stock turbos run at 18psi? Is the torque a lot stronger? Enough power to cream a new 911 turbo?:biggrin:
  21. Thanks a lot Pete for explaining so much! So I would most definately need a air fuel computer to take care of the extra boost! Also the 550cc should be enough for the extra boost of the hybrids? Right! Will the HKS TYPE-S Intercooler be good enough to handle the extra cooling required. One last and important question- Is it difficult to tune a Air Fuel Computer?
  22. Pete, I assume this is the max psi available too you on 440cc injectors? Gavin, I woud need to cange over to 550cc injectors if I run up to 26psi right? Or do I require to go a bit bigger? Also what happens to the stock fuel map in our computer? I heard it is functional only upto about 19psi?Do we need to get a fuel computer and tune it?
  23. Once again what sort of HP gain is there compared to stock turbos? What does it mean max out the ct12b? Also it would cost me 1300- right for the two turbos and I would need to send my old ones back to him. Also is it OK if my turbos are blown?
  24. I would appreciate it if you could give me leons e-mail also does he have a web page? Regarding the turbos-I would have to give him my turbos and he gives me the upgraded ones. Is that right? Also what sort of horsepower gain can we expect? STAGE-2 its like jumping from a Ford Mondeo straight into a Supra!:shocked: Will I feel that much of an improvement with the hybrid over stock turbos running BPU? 19psi?
