Lol. I think i'll re-word that! Was supposed to read as 'think it has OE rods and pistons, but rumoured to be CP'. I know what i meant when i wrote it.

The long small looking bolts (there actually quite hefty when you see them out) are actually captive to the semi circular bracket you can see. There not bolt heads, they are actually attatched to the bracket so they cant spin. These three bolts attatched to the bracket go through the chassis leg and then through the sub frame. The nuts are then torqued up as the bolts are captie, hence dont spin. Hope this helps.

Hello? Being serious by the way. The 'u shaped brackets' you're reffering to have two long captive bolts that go all the way through the chassis leg and come out underneath, where the front sub frame bolts up to them. By the looks of things the one welded up on your pic has been welded because the captive bracket has snapped off, therefore its been welded to make it captive again. But the one thats hanging off, mate that needs looking at asap.

I was 2 laps ahead in 1st when my god dam kart blew up. Got the quickest lap though. *cough* 1:11.3 *cough*. Nearly a second quicker than the next fastest.

I have 19x315's on the rear and 19x275's on the front, again in wide body offset. Handles better then when i had 18's on.

Bingo! Just checked all my coil packs, one plug is completely disintergrated and another wasnt far off being screwed. Got rid of all the crap plastic, slid the pins onto the connectors and filled the plug with silicone. Now running beautifully again. Cheers guys. Are coil pack connectors a common issue? Looks like they disintergrate with thew heat.

Plugs are brand new. Only fitted the other week. The slight hesitation has now turned into a full on missfire and loss of power under acceleration. I get the 'pops' when turbo 2 comes on boost all the way to the redline. Darn it! Really wanted a run on sunday too.

Interesting. Gone through £60 of sainsburys finest and still no difference. Might try draining it all out first. Nice one. I'm on it now.
