  1. I have a totally original 2001 N/A. 40k miles. Was about to throw a GTE in it. Best kept bone stock?
  2. Way ahead of you mate. Went up to the distribution centre it had pulled out from. They gave me his full manifest, drivers name, company name etc... Passed it all on to the Feds. I'm not fussed about the damage. Most of it was just plastic from his wheel arches and it just rubbed off, a small round dent by the o/s/r hockey stick that will push out, and one kerbed wheel where I had to take evasive action as he drove off (if I hadn't, he'd have gone right over the bonnet!) I'm more concerned with the lack of police interest!
  3. There was something on the o/s of my Supra and I couldn't quite figure out what it was. It looked Romanian, and on first impressions looked to have turned ANTI-CLOCKWISE on to a major roundabout, then exited into my entry slip. On closer inspection something came out of it and made a noise. Sounded like it asked 'Wrong way?'. But then it disappeared. I had actually stopped as I discovered it coming toward me, but for some unknown reason it just kept coming down my o/s. I can only assume it was attracted to the paintwork. It left some strange marks, and caused me to kerb my n/s wheels, so I called 999 who told ME to chase this strange truck shaped object as there was no officers blah blah.... Now, to me that sounded like permission from the police to drive like a policeman. After about 7 seconds I eventually caught up with it about 4 miles later. It was now pulled over in a layby. The strange noise happened again. 'Not me, I not know this car, bye bye'. So I asked for its details only to be ignored, and it drove off. I was still on the phone to the nice useless operator throughout, who was not interested in the slightest in the dangerous driving, failing to stop, refusing to give details. Summary. The police don't care about dangerous driving if the driver is Romanian. 'Its a lot of resources to chase them up'. Luckily, I managed to get some pictures, and have now escalated it. Get dash cams people!
  4. You can download a 2jzgte?? Link?
  5. I remember you! Specially the day we tried to blow up a microwave using an old air bag. I bought another Supra too. The R34 got boring.

    Supra valuations

Interesting thread. I was thinking about this the other day, mainly for 2 reasons. 1: I've just imported a bone stock genuine 2002 NA auto, immaculate inside and out, 39k genuine miles with proof (Shaken reports on export docs). I don't have a clue what it's worth?! Mainly cos 2002 cars are rocking horse turd. And... 2: Back when I did the salvage, I was the only Supra breaker. Just before Keron started up properly. 6 speed conversions went for £2.5k with everything INCLUDING diff, the whole shabbang. Now it seems you pay a grand more for the same conversion EXCLUDING diff. So factor in buying a diff, that's £4k for the same bits! Same with TT conversions, UK brakes etc, they're all more than they were 10 years ago. It's very rare for used parts to climb in price that much when they're still so readily available. So maybe considering that, are we subconsciously increasing the value of Supras by commanding good money for parts? Just sayin!
  7. God I've missed this forum.
  8. I'm not far from Melton. Dont mind taking a look for you.
  9. Bring me your car, a new Matrix, some fags, and £242.77, and i'll do it for you.
  10. This thread actually made me log in. Nice work! Also nice A*se B*obs and legs Its lies, all lies!
  11. Ive got loads of 90's / 00's Trance, all on 12" though and mostly promos. I did toy with the idea of flogging it all! I love the 'Classic' trance sound, and try to capture it when i'm making my own stuff. This went to #3 in Juno's trance chart, and number 6 worldwide! Plays on Judge Jules on Radio 1, ASOT, ect... http://soundcloud.com/jbrewin/journey And a remix I did got caned by Jules in the clubs too. Theres a vid on youtube of him playing it in the Ministry of Sound somewhere... http://soundcloud.com/jbrewin/breaking-all-the-rules-on
  12. Yes, they are all the same, with the only slight difference being the NA subframe only has one rear diff mount / Bush. The hole is there for it, so if you do buy an NA sub frame you can buy a new mount / bush from Toyota and smack it in. Hope this helps.
  13. Only reason I didnt buy this, is its probably a little too good to 'Rape'!
  14. Selling my Aero. Great car, just found a genuine facelift Aero for my project, so this has to go. Originally belonged to Adam (Hackin'n'bashin). Full details in the Ebay ad..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180722492167?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_710wt_1139 Completely stock other than Lexus wheels. 108k miles / 177kkm. Drives spot on, very smooth. Full MOT with no advisories, tax until November. Doesnt owe me a lot and its got a few paint blemishes, so its a cheapie. HPI clear. Awesome sound system. £2250 ONO for club members. Reserve is at £2500 on fleabay.
  15. I did have one, but I dropped it down the drain on my drive.
  16. I Think the IB240 is the NA with cable kickdown, never saw an IB260 but you're probably right as I never broke a UK auto, they were all manuals. IB280 is definately TT, and IB320 was definatley a tiptronic.
  17. At the end of the day, you're all correct. The Supra autoboxes are all the A340 model, but the NA's with cable kickdown are obviously slightly different, as are the Tips ect. The IB number identifies which version of A340 it is. Edit: If you look at his first pic, you can see the label on top that confirms its an IB280, therefore a TT Autobox. Look at any Supra Autobox and it will have the IB label on top.
  18. He is correct (to a degree). IB240 / IB260 / IB280 and IB320. IIRC the IB320 is the tiptronic variant. Sure all auto boxes are A340, but all with slight variations. Eg the NA Autobox is an A340e IB240 (cable kickdown). I dont believe its a model number, as already discussed, this is A340-. And all Supra auto boxes are A340-'s.
  19. Yup. Just accumulating parts now. Should've started it already but the daily driver died so I had to put the Aerotop on the road straight away and aim to start over winter / Spring. Base car is my silver pre facelift NA aero. Full strip down to absolute bare shell, dipped and etch primed. Respray in facelift quicksilver. (Properly!!!) MVP TRD widebody kit, (no £200 chinese crap fitted by a blind bodyshop and painted by someone with no eyes or hands this time). Ridox carbon tailgate lip, No spoiler. Powder coated subframes with full Ikeya formula arms / links etc front and rear, Titan subframe mount kit, TRD roll bars, coilovers to be decided. Also toying with the idea of new hubs, bearings and spinners but I need to price them up. Brembo brakes. Black CCW 19's. Transplant facelift dash from my donor car, recaros, black carpet. 6 speed conversion and TT lump from donor car, fully rebuilt to 750bhp ish, specs yet to be decided. Still fancy a T51. Than my Mrs will kill me for spending £40k on a 16 year old car.
  20. Ah nuts. It'd be a bit of a struggle luggin those on the train home. Anything smaller and i'd have been happy to pick them up for you. Soz bud.
  21. I work in New Cross Gate, and live in Northants. Is it a large item?
  22. Passenger mate. Awesome job!
