  1. That looks like a stock toyota immobiliser box. That car never had an immobiliser, so it must have been disconnected before we had the car. As for the grey plug you're having trouble with, thats for a trac ecu, the car would run with it disconnected anyway.
  2. Just to clarify, the engine is a Supra 2jz gte VVTI, the engine loom is Supra 2jz gte VVTI, and the ecu is Supra 2jz gte VVTI. Everything used on that conversion is from a 2000 Supra TT VVTI 6 speed. Chico, you say it runs for 3 seconds then dies, yet on the phone you said it only runs for 3 seconds when you spray easy start in the intake. Which says to me it definately has spark, but has no fuel? Even though you say the fuel pump is running, have you checked for pressure at the rail? As far as I can remember, that car never had an alarm/immobiliser, so I dont understand what your guy has chopped out?

    Interesting day!

We're selling it on behalf of her, as its difficult to sell modified cars in Germany. Got to MOT it and tidy it up as its been unused for a few months. (Other than 500 miles yesterday! )

    Interesting day!

The temperature in Cologne was actually quite warm, warmer than here. Would have been nice in an aero. I also drove past a theme park in Belgium, called 'Plop-land' I bet it was really shi..
  5. I'm still doing the odd day over at Silverstone, and jumped at the chance of todays dutys.... Started last night with a train down to London at 7pm, then across to Stansted airport, and stayed in the Hilton. Checked in for my flight at 7:50 this morning over to Cologne (Koln) in Germany. Met with a long standing customer at Cologne airport, who then took me to her house to collect her TT6 BPU Supra. I left Cologne at 1pm (GMT) this afternoon, picked up the Autobahn through Germany, into the Netherlands, then Belgium, France, and arrived at the tunnel a shade after 4pm (GMT). 290 miles across Europe in just over 3 hours, speaks volumes for the roads over there. Not once did I get stuck in a jam, nor did I rush. 100mph max on the Autobahn felt comfortable, and the Supra was faultless. I was worried about how a BPU 6 speed would feel on such a treck, and it was an absolute pleasure! It is a true Grand tourer. So onto the tunnel and back in Blighty at 4:45pm (GMT). It took the same 3 hours to do 130 miles from the tunnel to home! The motorway was a chore due to stupid tramlines left by lorries on a worn out road surface, and I think I managed 70mph for about 5 minutes. Anyways, thought i'd share. Was uber impressed with the Supra on such a long trip. 420 miles, just over 6 hours, and a tank and a quarter of juice.
  6. Ed, if she has a reasonable quality vocal recording and some guitar parts ect, I could throw a polished track together? I've got all the gubbins here to put proffesional mixes together (and a few contacts)
  7. Do a search for fuel pump 12v mod. IIRC its just a simple joining of two wires.
  8. Happy birthday me old fruit.
  9. Ok, change the fuel. Must be well stale by now.
  10. Ah that fuel wont help. Its 2 years old! Check the pumps whirring away, lift the space saver out the boot and put your ear to the cover, you should be able to hear it.
  11. Yep, VVTi loom and ecu. I'm pretty sure its going to be a fuel pressure issue Chico. Specially i'f its ok on start gas. You checked the pumps not cutting out for some reason? Plus, the fuel was well stale in that car. Have you put fresh in?

    V car register

Yep, V-car is the database for severely damaged vehicles before the new laws (Categorisation) came into force. Cars registered on v-car had to be inspected by autoalign before being declared roadworthy.
  13. In need of a stock front bumper, colour not an issue, but teal blue would be nice.
  14. Correct. TT tacho is fed in a different way, therefore NA tachos dont recieve a signal from the TT ecu.
  15. Rear lamp failure relay. Located inside n/s/ quarter. I've got loads. £5 plus post.
  16. Na nothing to do with the cars weight. A weld snapped holding a pin in so it couldnt hold the ramp down. As soon as the wheel hit, it flicked up.
  17. Glad we got there in the end. The MOT guy we use is very harsh, but understanding when it comes to Supras as we put so many through so we werent too hard on him. The run up to his ramp broke when he drove your car on and the corner flicked up and smacked the bumper. Then it had one shiney new side, and one stone chipped side. It was ok if you stood on the left.
  18. Do they have master tempo on the Denons and if so is it on? Master tempo even on the pioneers causes a slight 'warble' in the sound due to the processing.
  19. I was thinking more, loose. Disintegrates when it hits the porcelain sort of thing.
  20. I remember this car. It has the structural integrity of a Sunday morning turd.
