  1. its a complete engine i brought believe its standard including the turbos.the last engine i dont know a great deal about i was told that the turbos had recently been replaced with vvti ones how true this is i dont know. the fuel pump kit was from tdi £160 it cost it also has a hks drager exhaust

  3. no its going on the rollers 1st of august at engine advantages but they dont have the software to remap the hks yet.i used tdi last time but they took some comments the wrong way on here and think ive mucked my chances up with them. abbey motorsport cant remap the fcon v either any ideas who can
  4. she was already mapped and decatted when i got her.but since owning the car ive had to put another engine in it ever since this nothing but bloody trouble cant solve the problem
  5. ive recently changed the plugs i was told to fit pfr6j-11 they are ngk.the same as what are fitted as standard apart from these are platinum. would this cause this problem if running full decat
  6. ive just picked the car up the missfire know seems worse is it possible if the boost controller is hooked up wrong to cause all these bloody probs i just want to enjoy the supra again
  7. hi guys my car has a been in the garage today as i noticed a missfire hogh in the rev range.today i was told that he believes its somthing to do with the sequintal set up interfearing with my blitz boost controller he called the problem a surge not a missfire.he also believes that it could be because the first cat has been removed has any one had any of these problems if so how can i get round it many thanks
  8. ive inspected all the pipes seem fine but have noticed that the boost controller only seems linked to the first turbo.where is the second turbo pipe and second actuator pipe situated,if i find those two and t piece off of them into the pipes connected to the first turbo will this work?
  9. hi there i got my car back today and unfortunatley second turbo isnt working. today the boost controller was reconected i believe its only connected to one of the turbos cant see any other pipes going to second turbo. can any one help? does the second turbo run off the first or does it also have to be connected to the boost controller
  10. they begin on the corners where the coils are secured to the rail and continue down the side of the coil!
  11. it more or less does it all the time some times it doesnt but its probably just that i dont feel it as much due to hard acceleration.i think ive found my problem though i borrowed a coil pack off of somebody changed the first to and went up the rd,this made it alot better but not perfect.i then removed the following four coils finding cracks in all of them. does any one have a good set for sale on here or any ideas where i can get hold of some cheers. also how much roughly
  12. they had done around 150 miles do you think it could be a dodgy map as i had a piston go down on the last engine really cant afford to have it happen again
  13. gbh motorsport who replaced the engine told me to use them.at the moment im running full decat,hks fcon v,blitz boost controller but disconected at the mo for warranty reasons so running stock boost.uprated fuel pump. ihad bcpr7es in before these but still the same problem
  14. i fitted ngk pfr6j-11 they are pre gapped to 1.1
  15. hi guys recently got my car back after having a new engine fitted when on full boost in second turbo the car misses and holds back seems like plugs.i have changed these and there was no difference.any ideas what else it could be.what about fuel could it be that there is not enough getting to all cylinders.

  18. confused.com is a realy easy site to use and they were great for me give them a try it was really good for me
  19. can any one help need to know if theres any other way they could of been checking the fuel
  20. i was only 21 when i insured my jspec tt paying 1300 fully comp that was with 11 points and 3 years no claims. i went with confused.com and direct choice ended up insuring me. best of luck
  21. do you think it would be best to keep the boost controller connected and try not to use high boost lol
  22. hi my engine is nearly in but been told i have to run it at standard boost for the warranty.my car has hks fcon v,full decat,and hks drager exhaust.basically all the garage has done is disconected the boost controller.
  23. i would of gone to vortex but too late know engine was already ordered would of cost me a small fortune to cancel it cheers neway lads
