    Truckers...

Actually, my mate who's a mechanic for an F3 team says they are crying out for team truck drivers. Blokes don't seem to want to go away most weeks in the summer to steaming hot race tracks and watch formula 1 for free and all that. If i weren't a familly man, i'd do it.

    Truckers...

    I take it you've never seen Convoy That's a big 10.4 Rubber Ducky....cum own.
  3. That looks perfectly usable. And there's a big difference between £50 and £225 if your intercooler has failed.
  4. lol, never thought of it that way! I'm just not a water...ist. I've tried many times to enjoy the sea. I went snorkeling of a boat in Tenerife and nearly went plummeting down the old Davey Jones when i came up and got my arms wrapped round the rope from a life ring thingy!!! I've given up trying now.

    Stupid weather!

Yep, i am waiting to go out and get on with my car but it's arsing it down now My car is under cover, but it's still bloody freezing and miserable and makes me not want to go out there.
  6. Yeah, they look cool mate. I hate the water though someone is gonna say repost though, may as well be me.
  7. Shit Rob, That's a kick in the nuts. Must be a supra jinx at the moment. I had my freshly painted bonnet up on the car the other day, and forgot about it when i jacked the car up and jacked the bonnet into the roof. Totaly fooked it
  8. The best pic of the car is B. Shows off the car real nice. The best pic from a good image point of view is F. Good contrast, and the silhouette of the supra is cool
  9. Do you mean the whole filter and conecting pipe?
  10. The part you have marked in yellow is the slam panel. This is welded on either side onto the inner wings. It sounds like it has been stretched over to one side (the same as my car) and will need cutting off and a new one welding in. The panel itself is £85 from toyota. If it's out of line it could mean that both inner wings will need straightening. It cost me 1k to have the car put on a jig and have the inner arches put straight and a new slam panel welded in. Plus one of the legs was slightly out and needed moving.
  11. Yeah mine were destroyed aswell. I can't remember off the top of my head what they were for, but i'm sure one of them was for the fan. I'm pretty sure that it says what they are for on each of the relays! I paid somebody £40 for them (forget who). Here's a picture that i took of Darryls car showing the relays.
  12. You won't be able to see chassis damage by looking. It will need to be set on a jig. Only a few mill' out will make a difference to the handling. Unfortunately, it is possible you will find more damage when you strip the car out. The panel across the front is the bumper reinforcement bar which is around 45 pound. I have just had a supra jigged and repaired (front ender). Let me know if i can help in any way.

    Supra's and kids

This topic has been brought up a few times in the past. Can't remember the outcome, but i do remember seeing pictures of cars with kiddy seats in the back. Have you tried a search?
  14. I need to replace the pump on the screen wash bottle, as on of the outlets is broken off. If anyone is breaking a car or has one kicking around, please let me know. It's for a j-spec, as i understand uk cars have 2 pumps! Thanks in advance
  15. Adam, you haven't answered my pm. Do you still have the boot struts for sale. I'm also after a screenwash pump from the washer bottle. Let me know if you can help please mate
  16. Had another look at this yesterday, there is only one outlet coming out of the pump! It looks like the other tube that the pipe is connected to has been broken off. Looks like i'll be after a new pump then. Darryl, if you read this let me know if the pump off that uk bottle is any good to me and if you want to sell it
  17. Yes, she is breaking the law, her dad is trying it on. Have you spoke to the police? Maybe you should tell the father to do the right thing or you will see about getting her prosecuted for non due care and attention. I would guess that would be the offence for sitting in a yellow box. Edit. And by breaking to let people out in traffic you run the risk of being arse ended, and are not obliged to do so.

    Rear wing removal

I would imagine the only real safe way would be to weld a blank under the hole and put a skim of filler over it. I wouldn't risk just filling the hole as filler shrinks a little over time and will show as a crack in the paint. Could potentially fall out. Welding the holes up is a very small job, if you're going to have the boot painted anyway it's what i would do
  19. Doh...here's the picture.
  20. Did you get any witnesses or photographes? Otherwise it could turn into a your word against hers type thing. I had the exact same thing happen when i was on a bike, but the bloke held his hands up and admitted fault. I can imagine your frustration
  21. Cheers Darryl. I was going to go and have another look at this tonight now i'm home but it's pissing down I found this picture that i took when i first got the car, and it looks like there was only ever one pipe that splits to feed both jets? That would explain why i'm getting water from both when the screen wash is activated. I would imagine then that i have a pipe missing of the pump then. Maybe it's been bodged this way at some time. As TrickTT says the bottles are different, but maybe the pumps that serves the front/rear windows are the same. Maybe you could take a pic of that so i can see where the the pipes connect onto it.

    I now hate Japs

Don't worry about it mate. I just hope you can get something sorted without too much expence
  23. Ok, It looks like i have something missing then. I have one pipe from the pump that splits just before the yellow gromit. Cheers guys.
  24. Please move this mods (Technical) I am clearly an idiot.
