  1. Is there a seperate pump for the rear screen wash? I'm rebuilding the front of my car that was crash damaged when i bought it, so don't know how the pipes should go to each jets (front/rear). When i push the front screen wash, water also comes from the rear jet at the same time. When i push the rear screen wash there is no water but i can hear a pump going and it sounds different, like when there is no water in the bottle. I have one pipe coming from the pump on the bottle under n/s wing, this splits under the wing with one pipe going up to the bonnet for the front and one going into the a pillar supplying the rear. Please help, this is doing my nut in

    Show us your face

Cool pic there fifty. Is your mate going overboard in the background there? I don't have many pics of myself, as i always seem tp be the one with the camera whenever i go anywhere or do anything. I got loads from my gigging days though, so here's a couple. And me enjoying a nice cold bud in Brighton.

    I now hate Japs

I think Gadgets comments were meant tongue in cheek. And there has been quite a few threads in the last year and a half since i've been here about people finding bodges after having work done on their cars. As for matching pearls, very difficult. Pearl is made up by adding various types of crystals to paint or laquer. The crystals come in a pot and you weigh them out, say 5 grammes per litre of paint. So first you need to match the exact crystal type and guess the ratio. Then the amount of layers applied will make a differance also. Putting pearl in the top layer is also a big no no. Any t-cut type pollish will have an effect on the finish and the pearl particles will be visable like grains of salt on the surface. Any pearl/candy type layers should always be protected by a few coats of clear laquer.
  4. Have you tried shouting profanities at it, whilst stomping around destroying other nearby unrelated objects? Has been known to work sometimes!
  5. Yes, structual modifications are not advisable. If they covered this subject on Rikki Lake, the conclusion would be.......DONT EVEN GO THERE

  7. Ah cool. Hopefully when i find my bottle it will have the pipes on it. CW mentioned earlier that it has to be 3/4 full, why is this?
  8. Do you need to remove? The rears are pretty easy, all bolts fairly accessible. Here's a digram of the front, hope it helps.
  9. Those Technospeeds look awesome on your car. Double 6's are nice too, but no way would i shell out and replace them.

    Painted wheels

Nice job. I prefer the black . A bit more..."moody"
  11. Where do the pipes run too/from this bottle? I've been building up the front end of my car today, and can't find the pipes for the expansion bottle Saying that, i couldn't find the bottle but i;m sure it's in one of the sheds! Does one come from the rad fill neck?
  12. Working on the car, got lots of bits to go on! Just popped in for a cuppa, and look at some pics on here to check where the bonnet cable is routed at the front. This forum rules, i will finish my tea, go outside and place my bonnet release cable exactly where MrT intended
  13. Got to bump this thread. Mark has already given me some advice on putting the indicators into the side lights, but i've decided that i would like them in the fog lights now. Seeing as my car has no m.o.t, i want it to comply with the requirements to save any problems when i take it for testing. I cant fit the original indicators back for the time being as i've filled the mounting holes in the bumper during the respray! So what i need to know is, if i wire the indicators onto the fog light bulb holders, what bulbs will be needed and is there anything else that i will need to do?
  14. Here ya go... http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?satitle=supra+clear+indicators&catref=C3&from=R2
  15. I think Mr ebay has these at a good price.

    TRD Widebody

Yeah TRD is a good looker. Apart from those holes in the front wings behind the wheel.
  17. You really need to read the last 108 pages to get the whole story...
  18. Sad news indeed, sorry to hear.
