Hi Guys

Seen this and I am going to see it on Saturday with the intention of buying it. Has anybody owned this here in the past and what’s the opinion on spec and price?

Will greatly appreciate the help.

Thanks

Costs wise, respray and fitting / purchase of bumpers cost just over £1500

Valve Stem seals, and recent service including oil and filter, fuel filter, plus in tank filter and gearbox fluid and strainer, cost £1400.

Plus all the other bits and bats I've done, serviced every 5000 miles.

The Supra has had no expense spared, All the old MOT's back to 2005, so a year after Import to verify mileage, so it equates to approx 70000 miles being a mix of KM and miles. Car has only done 12k miles in it since June 2009. The car has NEVER missed a beat. (Showing 94500 miles, it’s a mix of KM and miles.)

We have a pile of receipts for stuff for the car. 2 keys and 2 alarm fobs.

This is the perfect BPU supra.

Sounds expensive to me unless its really nice in the flesh, £1500 for a repaint inc buying the

bumpers is very cheap, does it have ABS ?

The ABS pump can just be seen if you look at the engine bay picture. How I read it is that the bumper price with their re-painting cost £1500, not the whole car.

Looks lovely in the pictures and if the mileage is genuine then it could be a nice car, maybe you can squeeze him on the final price.

Yeah, it's my old one. Respray of the whole car was £1500, done by a mate as a favour. the front bumper had been on a silver car before, needed a few repairs and painting, the trial rear took a bit of messing to get a decent fit. It's not a bad finish. I sold it in March last year. I spent a small fortune on it. VSS job and a load of other stuff was done by Martin Kirk on here.

I like how it's a blatant copy of my original sale advert as well! :)

Link for sale from before I bought it: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?209405-Cheap-TT-on-Pistonheads&highlight=646bhp

Paintwork was right mess, hence me having it resprayed. The lad who bought it after the above advert was a right idiot. Advertised it as 600+BHP!!!
