What unleaded fuel?

Hi i recently bought my new supra its a Supra NA 1995 J-spec. As i know in japan octane is higher so i am sure the ECU is programed to run higher octane. So i am wondering is it ok to put normal unleaded in the car or does it have to be superunleaded? will it damage the engine in the long term with normal 95 octane

you'll be fine on standard unleaded, no damage will come to the engine

Like m_life said, standard unleaded is fine. Though I have always ran my cars and bikes on high octane, doesnt do any harm

Isn't it more of a problem if it's turbocharged? I've always filled it with the higher octane fuel, but I'm a bit of a petrol snob when comes to the supe.

higher octane is recommended for turbocharged cars but NA's dont realy benefit from it unless there has been ALOT of work done to the engine

I've run my unmodified NA on "normal" 95 RON petrol for years (I've never put high octane stuff in it), and it's been fine.

Normal 95 RON is fine, Though I have been running mine with V-Power 99. I've filled up with 95 RON before and felt a difference between the two. I believe in Japan they use 100 RON for fuel.

there no point in putting high octane if you dont have turbos

I get close to 350 miles out of a £40 fill up in the teg

if it was a TT i could handle lower miles, but the BM was in the garage so the 350 miles lasted me less than a week just to get to work and back.

I got it from a friend of mine its a white one

i only use BP super unleaded fuel, its 98....
