Sound Performance Torque Monster Turbo Kit

This kit does exactly what it says.

It has covered around 6000 Miles but the turbo has only done around 1000 miles

It used to have a Quick Spool Valve but this has been removed

It consists of:

PT6766 CEA DBB Turbo

Torque Monster Cast Manifold, heat coasted black

Precision 46mm wastgate

SP 4" DP heat coated black

SP 4" MP heat coated black with 2 bolt adapter flange

Recirc Wastgate Pipe

Oil feed and return lines

Intake pipe with K&N Filter

Black intercooler pipe work with SQV flange to suite greddy front mount

DEI T4 Turbo Blanket

With the correct supporting mods the kit did:

807hp @ hubs

692ftlbs

This was at 2bar of boost with a 50% mix of ethanol

We took it to 1.7 bar on pump fuel and the 2 graphs are overlaid.

654hp @ hubs 1.7 bar pump

590ftlbs

Would be great on a VVTI as spool would be very good

On stock engine and cams it would be good for around 650hp

With supporting mods of ECU, fuel system, exhaust, intercooler

What would that be like on a standard VVTi car?

With supporting mods would be required?

Injectors

Fuel lines/pump

ECU - piggyback or standalone

Cams?

could be interested. would be going on a low mileage vvti.

just out of interest - did u see the car when it had the quick spool valve? any idea why this was removed as it was something i was looking into...

Yeah we built the car with the quick spool valve on originally.

The valve failed after a few thousand miles, they don't like the heat

We don't advise running them tbh

On a Vvti you won't need it, the spool will be much better anyway
