Hi people,

dont know about you guys but i have a loud ticking sound comin from the charcoal canister and its really starting to fukn annoy me!!! sounds like shit

anyone know if a brand new canister will fix the problem ???? i presume it would, anyone tried it???

i know an option is to rip the damn thing out and send it for six but there a legal issues with that, plus ive heard its results in a funky smelling car...

so yeah, will a brand new canister fix the problem and shut it up????

cheers

Sam

It's perfectly normal mate, nothing to worry about :)

A new one might be quieter, but it's never bothered me much (exhaust drowns it out!). I have one here you can have for postage cost but that might make it a little pricey considering your location...

i realise its nothin serious boys, just sounds like crap!!!

if your standing next to the car whilst its idling you can hear it ticking away so it "sounds" like somethings wrong to other people...

dont think the car would have come out from the factory making that sound, so a new one "should" fix it, any1 actually replaced it with a brand new one????
