Pete
Given that you can now buy a PS3 for £299 (ok this is better as it has PS2 compatibility) and each game costs £30/40? That would be new - £650/700?
JustGav
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sensible for those who dont know the meaning Then perhaps state what you are expecting rather wasting people's time. No price indicates sensible offers, a friend of mine bought one for £200, so apart from that I have no other basis for a starting bid, therefore my start was £250. mkirby
i would say that being as mostof the games are worth around £20-25 in sale value/trade value then the package must be worth £420+ mike

Pete
where? Where what? Do you mean the PS3 at £299? Argos, Virgin, Woolworths...etc. It's inferior as it has no PS2 backwards compatibility, memory slots removed and other things. Also only 20Gb. Whitesupraboy2
Matt from Virgin you can get one for £350 the hardcore version with 2 games so you may as well go for that instead, better model and 2 games out of a choice of 6 if I remember right. GazzaGSi
LMAO erm read up about them the software updates allow you to play ps2 games The software updates for PS2 backwards compatability is for the PAL 60GB models. There is no way for PS2 games to be played on the 40GB PS3 as everything has been removed to do with it, hence making it cheaper. Thats what I was led to believe anyway. Also only 20Gb. Its a 40GB system not 20GB.

Second Gen used software emulation for the CPU, but retained some other Emotion Engine chips. This third gen contain no PS2 chips and Sony have said NO PS2 compatibility. I suggest you read up a bit.
